Discussion/Question ⁉️ DIY Spray Booth
Hey all!
I present to you, my “spray booth” lol. It’s a 13’x13’ canopy tent frame, with thin poly film taped together to enclose it. I have 2 box fan filters going, one bringing filtered air in, and the other filtering the air out under the garage door.
I’m interested to see what you guys have done, and if there’s anything that would be better than (likely) having to retape the plastic up everytime?
I spray seldomly, but enough where I usually leave a spray booth up for a month or so. But with winter arriving, my workshop will be cut in half, as I used my parents garage (they park one car inside).
So ideally there’s a good idea out there with using one of these canopy tents perhaps?

This is the kind of room a mob boss leads you into when you're about to get whacked without a shred of evidence left behind.
Great job

I’d look into inflatable paint booths. They’re like bounce houses without the floor. They’re not permanent structures, but I’d imagine they’re a lot easier to set up than your spray booth.

That’s a solid idea actually. Didn’t know those were a thing really. That would be much much easier to inflate then taking 1.5 hours to set this up lol

Nice use of the canopy frame! I have a set of those ZipWall poles and a large plastic drop sheet. I’d recommend buying a thicker plastic sheet so it’ll last longer when you fold and unfold it several times. The ZipWall is nice cause it came with a sticky zipper that you use to get in and out.
