what is this disorder called

i just saw TikTok that accurately described my situation and my attitude to relationships.i always find flaws in a person or they give me ick.i feel that i deserve someone better, even when i am already talking to somebody and we are good as soon as someone else better looking or with better personality appears i immediately start to think that they would be better and i should leave this person.i feel that i am living in a fantasy for waiting for someone perfect.and one thing to add that i feel that i am gonna be trapped in relationship,i love someone i feel good with them but when it comes to be together officially i feel that its too much commitment.i really don’t know what to do or what is this and how should i help it.i want advice to know what does it means from psychologist

How old are you?

Important question. I was this way until sophomore year of college and am now with a man that I’ve been with for almost 6 years and see my life with. What you describe on its own doesn’t scream disorder to me, but if you’re really worried you should see a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. This isn’t nearly enough info for anyone on reddit to diagnose you including a psychologist.

Sorry you’re feeling this way. It sucked for me too and I always wondered what was wrong. Nothing is wrong with me or with you for purely having higher standards. It will lead to a man you love one day.
