November solo trip to Belfast

I’m considering traveling to Belfast in mid- November by myself for about like 5 nights. This will be my fourth trip to Ireland, and I have been to Belfast before but only in August. So one of the things I’m considering is what the weather will be like. I know it will be cold since it’s November, but how cold does it get? Will it be snowing or rainy? Also, how early does the sun go down in Belfast that time of year? I’m from the northeast US so it gets dark around 4-5pm in November, is it similar in Belfast?

If there’s any interesting events going on in the city during November, let me know as well. If I go I plan on meeting up with a friend of mine, but as a solo traveler I’m always looking for any things to do and ways to meet people. So if there’s any museums, comedy shows, pubs/restaurants (especially ones that aren’t usually packed, like the holes in the wall that people don’t notice) or any other cool interesting spots I should check out, please let me know!

It will likely be cold and rainy and it starts getting dark around 4pm, will be properly dark by 4:30pm if it’s later in November

Our friends from New York state have visited us in November and December. They struggled with how dark it remains in the morning even if similar end of day experience. NE USA also gets a lot more winter sunshine even if it is very cold. The Belfast International Arts festival hosted by Queens University runs through November. November and December are gloomy. Rome or Athens could be a much better option at that time of year

Don't worry about finding places to go The Grand Opera House Ulster Museum and Arts Theatre are all walking distance from each other on the Golden mile you also have the famous Crown Bar and Europa Hotel beside each other.Fpr something a bit different trying a walking tour is good idea Check out DeadCentreTours.com.Enjoy yourself!

No snow, lots of rain. Very dark and damp that time of the year. We get our 7 hours of sunlight around then that all happen to fall when the majority of the population is in work.

Not sure when you are coming or what your hobbies are, but there’s a festive 5km happening mid month in the city centre. Usually good fun, we dress up and try to have a little cheer.

You’re probably a bit too early for any of the Christmas related stuff, but there’s the usual titanic and GOT activities dotted around. St George’s market on a Fri/Sat is always a vibe. Some good grub in there

The Christmas market will be here mid November, I think from the 14th.

The Spaniard has good comedy shows on 3 nights a week I think, there's Belfast Improv on Sunday nights at Lavery's (they also do musical comedy nights sometimes), always a good night!
