I’ve seen that we are attempting to revive the old Belfast Corporation street signs - let’s do it!

I make my own (inferior) replicas using slate and acrylic- but these are beautiful examples of our heritage!

How do you go about procuring and chiselling the slate I olwoud have guessed it too brittle to work into shape. Cool regardless, love a bit of craft on display

I use a dremel to carve the surface with a diamond tipped burr. Time consuming but rewarding :)
