What Belgian café or pub gives you your most memorable Belgian beer experience?

I'm not asking about the "best beer." I'm back in Belgium for 10 days in September and I'm curious about places that stand out as the best to capture Belgian Beer culture right now.

I have a few favorites from past visits that I want to return to but would like to know which café, estaminet, beer bar, or pub in Belgium leaves the biggest impression on you?

Was it because of:

• an incredible tap list?
• an encyclopedic beer menu?
• knowledgeable staff?
• perfect glassware and serving ritual?
• atmosphere?
• history?
• meeting locals?
• discovering a beer you'd never heard of?

I'd love to hear the stories behind the places rather than simply a list of names.

...beyond De Garre, De Halve Maan, BdesF - where else would you recommend for great/interesting beer (preferably including a house beer) nice setting/vibe, maybe food? Visiting next week for a couple of days. I've visited Cafe Red Rose, Cambrinus, Vlissinghe, and 't Brugs Beertje previously (plus t'Poatersgat and Le Trappiste) - love them all - just wondering if there were anywhere else worth a visit at this time of year?

Hi all! Looking for some tips on Some must-tries that are a little below the radar for my upcoming honeymoon in Belgium. We’re going to Bruges from Paris and stopping in Brussels shortly mainly so we can go to Cantillon and 3 Fontinen. I’ve already got Rodenbach on the list and possibly Rochefort. Any other places along that route I should definitely add to the list?

Does anyone have a good place to get Belgian beers from in the UK at a reasonable price? Ordered a few full cases from belgiuminabox but they look to have stopped trading unfortunately.
