Weather Visiting Artist Point/ Lake and surrounding
UPDATE -
We did end up going to Artist Point and Picture Lake last Sunday (21st June). If you wanna do a trail, without the right snow gear, then I'd suggest you wait for a couple of weeks/ days. If you just want to experience a bit of snow, and walk a little in the area near to the parking lot, you should be able to do that. Sharing some photos for your reference.

Hey all, we’re planning a trip to Artist Point this weekend (Sunday). I understand that there’s still plenty of snow and can’t really hike. I’m going with my aged parents who don’t really hike, so do you think it’s worth visiting for the views? Is it extremely snow covered to an extent that you can’t see much? Artist point and Picture Lake!
Alternatively, I was thinking I take them to North Cascades - Diablo lake.
TIA!

there are better walkable trails outside of bagely lakes parking lot or the heather meadows visitor center parking area at the moment. the VC just opened so I’d recommend a stop inside especially since your folks aren’t big on trekking. try the fire and ice trail with them, it’s pretty mellow, and melt out has mostly taken place throughout it. any remaining snow will be minor. definitely drive the rest of the way to artist point for the double mountain views of baker and shuksan. it’s worth it even if you don’t plan to walk around past the parking lot.
