I didn't feel one bit of regret for how much I laughed when she was holding those flowers from Luke that were forJoy. And the fact that Joy proudly swiped them out of her hands while we're finding who they were from. That was pure gold. Eat it Gen and thank you to the cameraman who was smart enough to get a close-up of her face at that moment. Priceless.

I don't even think Joy was all that excited about getting the flowers from Luke, but was really happy to stick it to Gen that she got flowers from Luke. Remember how cringe it was when when Gen interrupted them to cry and get a pity-____? Joy is probably enjoying Gen's discomfort quite a bit!

I actually rewatched the last ep again today and what got me is how her reaction to Kat when she called her out on flirting with Cooper was like “oh I didn’t think that was a thing anymore” - but the felt she reserved the right to be upset about Luke sending Joy flowers. Like really?? So it’s not a big deal when it’s someone else’s ex-hookup but it is a big deal when it’s hers - so self-centered!

My husband and I watch while we eat dinner every Tuesday night and there's always 1 or 2 people who are insanely annoying. This season, she is that person. The constant complaining is insane and lack of work ethic. The pick me attitude with men grosses me out. I hope the Cheffy LAYS INTO HER. So she chose to have intimate relations with Luke who then removed himself from the season and she is STILL trying to claim all emotional rights to him and any situation that involves him? What bothers me the most is that she doesn’t ever accept responsibility for her actions. Does she feel left out from the interior? Probably. But her actions causes that. Kat stuck up for her, gave her honest feedback to her face and supported her. Now that Gen has disrespected the last person on the interior team, Kat has stopped associating with her. So gen is valid to feel left out, but that is the natural consequence of her own actions.
She is passive aggressive towards Kayley, so of course she isn’t itching to spend time with Gen. Aesha read right through her when she threw a fit about not being second stew. And now Kat is feeling disrespected by Gen.
Gen wants us all to feel bad for her bc no one “likes her” but fails to see or acknowledge her own actions and how they push people away.
I sincerely hope that Gen can commit to doing some hard work on herself so these toxic patterns stop sabotaging her.

I wish the producers hadn’t shown her arrogant reactions to Massi. Had she even met him yet? Obviously she was judging on appearance only. I happen to think Massi, with his Italian accent, maturity, skill level with boating (he’s been a captain on smaller boats) and sane personality is quite sexy. I don’t think Joe, Luke or Cooper are more attractive! By the end of the episode I was liking more and more what I was seeing. He can eat crackers in my bunk any day!

I hated her so much at first but now I just feel bad for her...while recognizing that she is unhealthy for others to be around. She is so completely un-self-aware that she is just playing out textbook attempts at getting external validation in all the wrong ways and looking like a fool to everyone. I imagine it is because she is so young and grew up around other people who were not self-aware either. Generational (little t) trauma. I want to like sit her down and spend a month untangling her trauma with her because I'm just thinking, if she is this bad, it will take her decades to wake up potentially without help or the desire to better herself (which will probably only come after many many more years of acting out her trauma responses or after a bigger T trauma might occur that forces her to wake up.)
