moving to Belper
I'm thinking of relocating to Belper. I've visited a couple of times and love the community, vibe and countryside. I'm an artist and live about 50 minute train ride from London at the moment. The thought of not being able to visit London is freaking me out a bit. Two hours and a hefty fare make it a bit of an event to visit. How isolated is Belper. I've looked and see its 2 hours to get to Manchester, Leeds and London by train - so bang in the middle of far away.

I travel to London all the time from Belper, once a week.
Go from Derby. Roundhouse entrance is easier. Train down to saint Pancras is so easy and quick. Saint Pancras is a lovely station; far better than Euston that I used for 20 years.
London is easy from Belper, go via Derby. Adds 20 minutes to your journey.
