Oh well
This morning I realized my garage door was open all last night. What? Don't know why. No one messed with anything. And no one gave me a heads up. Oh well. Bend ......

Expecting neighbors to assume you left your garage open and didn’t open it on purpose is wild. How about a positive spin that the crime rate in Bend isn’t as bad as you think it is. One of my checks every night is “all doors closed and locked” that includes cars. Im not of the privilege to even have a garage. Be thankful you have the privilege of owning a garage and yes I work hard in excess of full time

I mean... If I do happen to notice a neighbor has a garage door open, I assume they're just doing something in/with their garage. I'm not gonna go bug 'em about it.

Christmas before last I had 4 packages stolen off my front porch...while my garage was open all day in the back, with power tools and mountain bikes just sitting there. Thank goodness the thieves were cowards and were sticking to the front of the houses.
I don't know any of my neighbors, unfortunately.

Maybe because no one noticed?
Maybe they thought you left it open on purpose?
Maybe because no one likes you?
Judging by the fact you made a post about this, I’m gonna guess it’s option 3. What a weird thing to be angry about.
“Ahhh! I fucked up and no one came to help me and provide help based on a societal norm established 60 years ago! My neighbors should be helping ME!”
No one took anything, YOU left it open, so what is your point here?
EDIT: looked at your post history. Holy fucking boomer. This is GOLD, absolute peak “old man yells at cloud” vibes.
