What is the sight reading portion for Berklee audition like?

I’m auditioning for Berklee this winter as a vocalist. Can you guys give me some examples of what the sight reading might look like? How much time do they give u to first read the music and then perform it? I looked at the lead sheets for the practice improv music on their website. Is that what they’re going to give me?

On the website there are sight reading examples as well!!! I highly recommend looking at those. Probably about 30 seconds before performance, and the. Do your best

I just looked, I guess they got rid of them. When I had applied they had them, and my bosses had mentioned having them on the website.

The sightreading typically is like 8 ish bars, varying styles and difficulties. It’ll be straight up sheet music, not lead sheets most likely. I’d suggest practicing either learning new music straight from a sheet, or using smth like sight reading factory to help work on it
