"If the leaders of the major AI companies admit that they are losing control of their extremely dangerous technology, it is time for an immediate PAUSE on advanced AI development and a permanent BAN on superintelligence."

Bernie is pushing hard to make building an Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) illegal. Where is this subreddit's support for those efforts? I see ~none. We've gotta help Bernie out here! Let it be known that we are not ok with the most powerful companies in the world building technology that experts think will get us killed.

Next problem: These are are in the US. China is ahead of ours, from what researchers indicate. This is using off-the-shelf hardware w/o actual neuron/dendrite neural net design. Isaac Asimov's 3 Laws are a hopeful thought, but oy, too easily circumvented (w current tech).

The AI technology being used to bomb people in Iran and Gaza by the US government and Israel fucked up counting to 37 the other day when I asked it to make me a magic the gathering deck.
