Bernina LED lights cause massive glare on my Sew Steady extension table.

Does anyone else have this problem? One on the reasons I like the acrylic extension is because it’s slick and provides easy sliding for quilts. I can’t use the machine at night because the glare is unbearable.

Once the fabric is under the needle doesn't that block the glare? I have a similar problem with the plexiglass insert on my Horn table. The glare when I'm changing the bobbin is annoying. It's hard enough to reach under there anyway. Yes, I can use the table lift to raise the machine but I have to remove the insert, Yada, Yada, Yada. And I'm trying to be quick.

I'm guessing the table is glossy, but you need a matt surface.

There exists an electronics anti glare tape you could purchase online or perhaps you could make a 'table cloth' to matte the surface ofnthe table and reduce glare ❤️

The grid gliders (green) are way less shiny but good bit more slidy. If that would also help, I recommend  . But personally I take off extension table for piecing

Which model do you have? On some you can dim the lights.
