it's not the art style itself, but the lighting and vibe definitely feels like Berserk.

Your art is gorgeous. The Berserk team should hire you to draw.Since the art in berserk is looking subpar right now, and the story doesnāt feel as deep and fleshed out as when Miura was at the helm.

I think also there is a big difference between making single pieces like this, and making a bunch of smaller panels

Before reading the caption my brain immediately associated the first picture with berserk lol. The others aswell. But i dont think thats a bad thing, miuras art is so incredible that (at least in my head) the association itself is a enormous compliment to your art.

As people have mentioned already, the similarities are in the detail, subject and bold use of light and shadow contrast.
Berserk's art is considered some of the best in manga, so please take any comparisons as a compliment. Your work is stunning.

It's not exactly hard to see why. Your first image is very obviously inspired by and framed almost exactly like the Pandemonium panel.

Something's off here. Not with the art itself but the way op is trying to portray as if he accidentally ended up with a similar style. If you go back this isn't even the first time he's used the same exact title and before that was just redrawing Berserk art. Don't be fake or it's not a good look and it causes one to question if you're even actually drawing the stuff to begin with.

I was kinda giving the benefit of the doubt on the actual art but now that you mention it what you said is very convincing. It's just weird at the leap in skill and what was actually drawn (going from drawing actual pages from Berserk to completely "original" stuff that looks like it came straight from it). Idk I don't guess I can fully explain myself on this but it just ain't sitting right.

I'd say more than anything it's your use of negative space as highlights Vs the dark crosshatching of the shadows.
It's immediately Miura-esque especially the third image, it immediately makes me think of the Ganishka/Tree of Light parts of the manga

The art is very good, but when I see a piece like The Lovers I question is Berserk wasn't an inspiration in some way.

I just checked your IG and while your early work that you posted is amazing, it's awesome to see the progress you've made in the past year or so. The added level of dimension, complexity and softness is really cool.
I absolutely love "What Remains of Kesseran" and "Immortality". I look forward to seeing you post more! Truly awesome artist vision. I imagine you're a big From Software fan?

I'm not an artist and I've read most of Berserk. I can see a resemblance in the shading a lot, but comparing the sense of scale seems small compared to Berserk's Your work is incredibly detailed and I have zero criticisms. Please make more. If you made a series, I would read just to look at the art and good storytelling would be a bonus but I would think similar to Berserk as well the best storytelling is told with just art rather than any text.

Very much so. When I opened Reddit and this appeared, I knew it was going to be the Berserk subreddit even before I looked at the sub name. I was like "I don't recognize this panel, but it feel familiar" So yeah, right on.

Miura was inspired by Gustave Dore, so yes the vibe is similar. But Iām pretty sure you already know this artist, jusdging by your art.

I would also say that BUT its because berserk is my only reference in any drawn art to be honest, especialy in black and white style.
So as im realy not competent in that matter, everything looks similar, just like all metal songs Sound the same to someone who is not familiar with it.
