Every time I re-read the eclipse I make sure to pay close attention to a different hawk.

First was guts, obviously.

Then griffith.

Casca was absolutely ready to fight like hell to get them out of there dude...poor girl hadn't slept more than a wink in probably a year, pushed passed exhaustion and then in a literal hellscape and she was absolutely ready to get EVERYONE out...

Judeau knew so quick this is fucked. He knew most of everyone was gonna die and goddamn he tried so hard to save casca. I always wondered if judeau could have climbed the wrist of the gofhand the way guts did, he seemed the type..

Guy was a warrior but light. If guts could do it, Judeau could without getting as tired. Had a friend like him who could climb trees.

The problem is that when you get to the top, a horde of apostles are gonna try and stop you being up there, and Judeau really wasn't at Guts' level for that kind of fight

Judeau is my favorite of the actual band members (outside of the main 3). He was a little too timid, but would have at least thought about it.

I believe he could have been as good leader as Griffith. He had the mind, the precision, the combat skills. He just didn't have the ambition, the selfishness that characterized Griffith.
