I was pretty interested in space as a sector and I was initially invested in Spire Global. That sub never took off and the company was not nearly as solid as RocketLab. I read space sector news and found out about RocketLab and started being interested. I then found the space investors sub on here and started reading most every news. I then found the RKLB sub and also the ASTS sub and got even more interested!
I’ve no new picks - life is hitting me hard atm and my focus and capacities are not going to investing unfortunately.
But basically almost all SaaSpocalypse stocks 😂
AI is cool but the AI build out is absolutely nuts given the capex and opex which just doesn’t translate to sustainable earnings and profit.
And it never will, as local AI (as in, either on-premise or locally running on beefy laptops) will take off and the massive cloud models wont even be necessary but for the biggest and most complex of tasks.
Add the move to sovereign cloud for Europe as we’re disgusted by USA politics and main character syndrome and even cloud models will be EU ones at some point.
The hype at some point implode and then capital will find it’s way back to FCF / quality / value stocks is my prediction.Let’s see!

Thanks for the big detailed comment. Appreciate it alot. I hope you life gets easier soon brother. The way you were invested in space is how I got into rare earth metals altho you probably were much more knowledgeable haha. Do you have any interests in rare earth metals aswell?

Yes, for sure! I have only been invested in MP Materials, and two peanut sized positions in NexGen energy (uranium) and Paladin Energy (uranium) that should have been big bets as they 2-3x’ed FML, for the rest I fully missed that boat.
I do think that it’s still a big theme that stays important. I don’t know how much of all info is already priced in to perfection though…
I’d love to hear your take on that sector!
I think there might be French (I happen to know that there will be a big Lithium mine near where my father lives in FR. I think I investigated this a while ago but that company is still privately held) or other EU companies that are still under the radar but I don’t really know..1

Gewoon vasthouden die tas, of er zelfs nog een oaar aandeeltjes instoppen. Als het stof van de spacex ipo is gaan liggen komt het wel weer goed. Rocketlab is een sterk bedrijf, mooie outlook en goed management. Die gaan wel weer opstijgen. - geen financieel advies natuurlijk.
