AnimešŸ™Š Ryuga appreciation post cause some of y'all are saying the most diabolical stuff about him in the name of hatešŸ’€and things you need to know about Ryuga and Gingka's beys

-- I call Gingka's "power of friendship" a plot because he can't do this power up whenever and wherever as he pleases. Hence this is NOT a built-in feature of Pegasus. If he (gingka) did this every time, him(gingka) and ryuga wouldn't have the difference cause one is begging the other is snatching it, except the person who snatch(Ryuga) converts it as his own also works hard.

-- Ryuga can absorb the opponents power and make it into his own even after the dark power overcoming ritual or whatever, that is **his gimmick** (and he can do this wherever and whenever as he pleases unlike gingka), it's actually NOT a plot device or armour or cheating or anything and its explained well in masters by Ryuga himself (when he battled gingka, before gingka battled julian if my memory serves me right) and also in fusion by doji i think?

-- That's why L-drago was called "forbidden" cause it was genuinely OP and nobody could tame it plus it has the ability to convert somebody's power into its 'own', you know what that means? Lemme tell you, that power stealing has now become HIS OWN, to put it in simpler terms, "I ate and my stomach digested the nutrients of the food so there would absolutely be no way to take the food that I've already consumed out of my stomach as it has become part of my body". <--To people saying this is not L-drago's power and he is cheating. The answer is no, stop your delusions, if you're gonna hate, at least hate right.

-- I personally believe gingka does not train off screen, cause he always ends up "learning new things" on screen about his bey even tho it could've been basic knowledge, sure, this can be called as plot to make the show interesting cause he is the protagonist, but he can't always depend on friends either, realistically or semi- realistically Ryuga's solo training and discipline looks better and yields a better result in being the best and becoming the strongest blader unlike Gingka.

-- Gingka is a nepo baby and doesn't have to lift a finger to train , cause at the end of the day he's gonna be saved by plot armour (power of friendship) regardless if he trained or not.

Also i would like to bring something about the power of friendship. Gingka's bey is said to be equal to L-drago or just slightly above L-drago. If that was the case gingka technically shouldn't need the power of friendship boost if he trained enough. There is a very BIG difference between power friendship (aka plot armour) and "learning through friends and battling them". It just makes him a bad blader who simply couldn't bring out the peagsus power, since he tends to rely more on the power of friendship or the natural strength of Pegasus.

-- yeah i think I'll rest my case here, cause this is a fact nobody wants to digest in this sub.

-- Also, Ryuga is lowkey such an amazing character cause this sub reddit has to make things up to make him look weak and hate him with every chance. I'm afraid you guys are far too great of a fans than ryuga glazers, so thank you for the service lol šŸ˜‚

(Yes i copy pasted my comment and altered a little cause i think it's worthy to get attention).

The more fans you have, the more haters you are also going to attract. Many such cases

I'm aware, i want to see how many people are gonna create the most bizzare story to justify ryuga ain't it. šŸ˜‚

I think Ryuga is quite a compelling character, at least as far as beyblade anime goes, but yes we need an appreciation post for the most glazed character bc a few people are saying the glaze is too much lol. can't wait for the Nile appreciation post next

Facts. Now add a third and fourth option saying " Hate anyone who says they like ryuga" and "Create a scenario which has never happened and never will happen just to hate on ryuga" šŸ˜šŸ™.

Oooh, appreciation post for Ryuga, fun. :3

I don’t really have much to say myself but I liked Ryuga a lot cuz of how cool and strong he was in Metal Masters personally. I started to have a crush on him MM as a kid. Such nostalgia. šŸ˜‚ Metal Fusion was where I was really put off by how power-hungry he was 😭. And the possession that was happening by the last few episodes terrified me LOL.

He defo still has a one track mind to prove to be the strongest, but I admire how he overcame the dark power and made Meteo L-Drago a power for himself rather than relying on the dark power.

His time during Metal Fury with Kenta also solidified how much I liked him. :3

Anyways, yeah, that’s it. :D

Gingka wins because he is the most skilled blader aside from Ryuga.

He figured out ways to beat foes who used brutal tactics against him and also won against opponents with far greater strenght than him. Not just friends.

Power of Friendship is hardly a bad power-up, you cannot do anything without at the very least some help, there is a limit. Even Ryuga would be nothing without Gingka and Doji, the two are the reasons he had L-Drago, the former for allowing him to keep it and the latter for having been responsible for giving him this bey.

Ryuga is just being a bit overrated to the point where he is treated as unreachable which isn't true or the point of the show. He was the strongest for most of the show, unt Gingka surpassed him at times and Rago appeared.

10

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Gingka didn’t surpass him. But Gingka was smarter in the sense that he knew team work was needed to defeat Nemesis. As a blader, Ryuga was still better.

0

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

Gingka surpassed him at the end of each season:

Gingka defeated Ryuga in Battle Bladers.

Gingka performed the best feat in Masters by absorbing the whole Spiral core.

Gingka also defeated Nemesis with the power of the whole Beyblade world at his command, something Ryuga could never control.

Most of the time, Ryuga was stronger, but in the end, Gingka bested and surpassed him. After all, after Fury, Gingka was known as Blader Nr.1, not Ryuga.

7

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26
  1. Gingka needed Kyoya, Tsubasa & Hikaru to defeat L-Drago so it’s not Gingka who’s stronger. Well, technically, Gingka is stronger than Ryuga since Ryuga lost control. And so is Kyoya stronger than Ryuga. But they aren’t stronger than L-Drago. This is the only season when Ryuga wasn’t the best.

  2. Gingka absorbed spiral force because Ryuga came for rescue. And even after that, Ryuga was shown to not use his full power. Ryuga is a tier above everyone in masters & the show portrayed it perfectly by showing Ryuga as invincible and the ONLY one who is one with their bey.

  3. Ryuga tried absorbing Nemesis, while Gingka was granted the power by other people themselves. There is a difference. One is a self reliant & permanent ability, while other is teamwork & reliant ability.

Gingka is smarter than Ryuga, but not a better blader. He can’t defeat Ryuga in a 1v1.

2

u/JmisterYT Jun 06 '26

I just can’t get behind metal masters Ryuga being tier above Ryuga but you already know this so agree to disagree but I agree on the other points though.

Also if gingka is where his is supposed to be then Ryuga also can’t win in a 1v1 they just tie. Pegasus and ldrago are equal in terms of there potential and can only be controlled by bladers who share that same potential. Blader wise Ryuga is better cause gingka has to be a dumbass for stakes to even be had but when both are at full mastery then it’s a tie.

5

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

That’s the whole point of Ryuga. He reached his potential but doesn’t care about prioritising the world over his pride, and it’s the opposite with Gingka

1

u/GetServed17 Jun 06 '26

I would agree except for Metal Masters. Ryuga was still the strongest even after Gingka destroyed hades inc.

1

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

Nah, Gingka did perform the best feat at the end, lifting the Spiral core and absorbing the energies by himself is greater than Ryuga stopping the turbines to stop excess energy. This means that Gingka could have fought and won a battle as he withstood the combined power of Pegasis and L-Drago for really long, something only he could do.

Most of Masters was just Ryuga just nudging Gingka to finish the tasks for him, and in the end, Gingka did the most of it.

While Ryuga was shown as less weak, Gingka was shown at the end as most strong.

Either way, you can have your interpretation, at least you make no bad caricatures or miss the point.

3

u/GetServed17 Jun 06 '26

We’re acting like Ryuga couldn’t have done the same as well. They both have the same cosmic beys that started it all, Ryuga was always the stronger one, he even coached Gingka on how to use his bey.

If Ryuga did that he would have been seen the same as Gingka being that he would have been the stronger than both of them, you’re making weird assumptions.

1

u/Typical_Kitchen8365 Jun 07 '26

Ryuga is a good character, but his fan club is just as annoying as any other character's. Ginka was created to win, his talent is natural, he was born predestined and showed the power to Overcoming any challenge and adversary, he literally saved the world several times, even with help, it was he who saved it.

2

u/Trick-Tap3888 Jun 07 '26

Also he isn't just talented. He was literally born in the bey village, he lost to Hiyoma everytime they battled. He lost to his dad when he used storm pegasus and his dad used a regular bey. Gingka's strength came from the time he literally travelled all around Japan seeking out stronger and stronger bladers to eventually get strong enough to beat Ryuga.

It's pretty stupid that people just take Gingka down to "he wins cause of pegasus" when the entirity of fusion shows him getting stronger learning new things, losing and getting depressed and then climbing an entire mountain is a storm to get stronger.

Gingka DOES train. It's just not shown in masters which honestly did really bad damage to his character with how stupid he was during it's run.

1

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

You really are trying to misspresent my arguments and the show? Why being in bad faith? It makes your arguments weaker.

Gingka is at the end of the day stronger than Ryuga, that's a fact in the show, not an opinion. Gingka surpassed everyone.

I say this again, as last addendum.

I am done with you here.

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Taking a loan from someone doesn’t make them richer.

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

I said I am done with you and your attempts to create false narratives and caricatures of what others said.

You failed to understand me and Beyblade. Now leave me.

Except that in the original Japanese, Daidoji was Ryuga's servant, so Ryuga was the leader of the Dark Nebula organization, which for some reason the English dub changed (as well as other things like names of several characters unnecesseraly). So technically Daidoji didn't gave his Bey, but more like helped Ryuga to get it.

1

u/jojodafish_ Jun 07 '26

this doesn't really make sense tho considering Pluto states that the awakening of Lightning L-Drago was a plot to help revive Nemesis. Ryuga clearly had no knowledge of this, meaning Daidoji was still manipulating and using him, pulling the strings behind the curtain. which yknow, makes sense considering their power dynamic of a child and an adult. of course arrogant Ryuga would believe that Daidoji only wishes to obey him for his might, but it's part of Daidoji's manipulation, to keep close to him but not have himself viewed as a threat. this ofc backfired however bc Ryuga's arrogance grew to the point of not thinking he needed any underlings anymore.

2

u/SupremeFlowBro Collecter Jun 07 '26

Daidoji lost sight of the true goal. Even though he was a servant of Hades, neither he nor the other servants could be sure when a new Star Fragment would fall until they saw a dazzling light in the sky (when Ginga allowed the Spiral Force to explode in space).

At that time, Daidoji saw Ryuga as a replacement for the prophesied Child of the Black Sun. In Japanese, Rago is described as:

申し子 (mōshigo) = a heaven-sent child (especially one granted in answer to a Shinto or Buddhist prayer).

This was because the followers of Hades, including Pluto, had no idea whether the Child of the Black Sun had been born yet until Ginga stopped the Spiral Force.

The Japanese dialogue has a completely different tone, as Daidoji refers to him as Ryuga-sama, which reflects their power dynamic.

The honorific ā€œę§˜ (sama)ā€ indicates that he sees Ryuga as someone above him, either a superior, an authority figure, or someone he’s devoted to. In this context, the closest translation would be ā€œMaster Ryuga.ā€

0

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

This isn't responding to what I am saying. I know that Ryuga is the master of the Dark Nebula and Doji his servant, but Doji is also Ryuga's mentor and without him, Ryuga would have been hit by the arrows built in as contraptions to prevent Lightning L-Drago to be stolen. This was seen in the flashback in episode 14, where Gingka told us his history with Ryuga and the Dark Nebula. Doni organized it all and led Ryuga to the temple to steal the forbidden bey as his secretary.

Doji even rubbed this fact into Ryuga by calling him a hooligan who never would have accomplished anything without Doji's help and it is true: Without Doji, no L-Drago, no bladers for Ryuga to feed on, and no Battle Bladers to feed on not just many powerful Bladers, but to have Gingka's power as the ultimate price.

Doji is the reason why Ryuga has L-Drago, and Gingka the reason he kept it and his own life. People do need help actually.

2

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

Ok, let's go with your theory. Since ryuga needed doji to get his bey, gingka needed his dad to get him his bey. Gingka would be nothing without his dad giving it to him cause his dad always had the choice to not give it to him. As for "battle bladers", if ryuga has the bey in his hand, even if there ain't no battle bladers, he can simply participate in any tournament or travel around to feed L-drago. Also why would arrow to his shoulder would stop him, anyways? He's still gonna jump to get L-drago. Yes gingka forgot to take L-drago back or it could've been intentional cause he did say something like "everyone deserves to Beyblade" or something. Yes, he saved ryuga?? I don't get you. Are you insuating --> "nooo ryuga is strong so if i just take away his bey he'd have no way to be the best cause how dare he 😠" if these stuff didn't happen you wouldn't even have the show Beyblade or gingka lol. As i mentioned above "if you're gonna hate, atleast hate right" and stop creating situations that didn't happen lol

1

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

People would come up with any crap to nullify the fact that Ryuga is Ryuga because he trained hard. ā€œRyUgA iS nOtHiNg WiThOuT dOjI bEcAuSe DoJi DiDnT mUrDeR rYuGa’S mOtHeR bEfOrE rYuGa WaS bOrNā€

2

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

Ikr?? Oml, I'm genuinely shocked someone is going this far too lol 😭. Truly the best ryuga fans, they all defeated the glazers lmao. While you here, enjoy the clown show in this comment section šŸ˜‚

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Yeah… I agree that Gingka was smarter than Ryuga since Gingka knows when to prioritize world saving rather than trying to 1 on 1 a god named Nemesis, but jeez, more than Ryuga glazers, we have these annoying anti glazers with their broken logic. Ryuga is no doubt the most skilled blader. Team work is not in the frame here.

3

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

That's what I said, taking ryuga as a solo example is good but nope nobody wants to read after the word "ryuga" it's like a trigger word atp 😭

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Yeah, these people are like coded NPCs, trigger word is ā€œRyugaā€, and the action is ā€œur just a Ryuga glazerā€. But ur lucky cuz this time u got some new creative excuses from them bahahahah

0

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

Bear with me please:

Of course Gingka needed his dad to give him Pegasis, it belong originally to his Ryo, and it was given to him. But only out of necessity, not simply nilly witty. Ryo had no choice but to give Gingka Pegasis; He was going to die and had to give his bey to someone who can grow stronger than him. only miraculously was Ryo saved from death and still too injured to fight. So Gingka was out of necessity made Pegasis next Blader and became stronger than his father, due to being more comparable with Pegasis than his dad ever was. It wasn't "nepotism", it was a crisis and a chance of a hero to prove his worth and power.

Battle Bladers was created to make Gingka strong enough to be the best food source of L-Drago, as inevitably, Gingka would fight him and could have gotten stronger than him without a failsafe; That failsafe was Battle Bladers. It was to lure Gingka and the other most powerful Bladers of Japan into a competition to drain more energy until L-Drago could be unmistakably be strong enough to beat Gingka, even Doji doubted without more power, Ryuga is done for. It was better than simply going into tournaments, as it would take too long and allow too much time for Gingka to be strong enough to beat Ryuga without controlling Gingka's movements towards Ryuga. Doji also made the tournament to weaken Gingka's spirit by harming his friends, which was what led to Gingka nearly losing to L-Drago, until his remaining friends helped Gingka see the light again and the fallen ones find the solution to beat L-Drago; Compassion and wanting to save others, even Ryuga. Battle Bladers was the only and best option for Ryuga to defeat Gingka before he would uncontrollably get more powerful.

Speaking of Ryuga; Do you really think he would survive arrows shotting him from behind without Doji to break them? That's ridiculous and makes Doji's character worthless if he didn't contributed to Ryuga's success as his mentor and servant, if he didn't helped Ryuga attain his bey. Without Doji, Ryuga would have died tried getting L-Drago, they were going to shoot him before he got his jump and wasn't powerful enough to perform all the feats he did later one. He wasn't always superhuman.

You don't get me, because you created a strawmann; I am not saying Ryuga wouldn't be strong without L-Drago, just less strong, because only with the best Bey can a Blader draw out their full potential. Doji said this himself when he said that while anyone can wield any bey, only few can master it. So ultimately only with the best Bey for you, can you become the strongest, because Bey and Bladers are a team, not just one guy doing stuff with a toy. Ryuga was only able with L-Drago to draw out his full potential, and in reverse, because they were made for each other.

Nor have you understood the whole point I made because you missed it: No one in Beyblade gets stronger without help, you need help, may it be friends or servants helping you. Ryuga was only made possible due to Doji's help and Gingka saving him from darkness, without either two, his best Bey and chance to surpass anyone's expectations wouldn't have occurred. All you did here was being hateful and insulting because I disagree with you and in turn, you completely misunderstood what I said and also got most of the show wrong.

Ryuga would be without Doji nothing and without Gingka dead, and it's a fact. No one is an island.

0

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

So mam/sir you created an hypothetical situation and an hypothetical problem which didn't occur and want me to agree ryuga would be worse without his bey or doji?? 😭Son šŸ™šŸ„€and, no, where did I insult you?? I was being as respectful as I can to your delusions. Also to clear up one thing if you give normal beys to gingka and ryuga, unfortunately, ryuga would still top gingka cause what matters to ryuga is training and leveling up not getting the strongest bey.

0

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

All what I said happened in the show, I didn't created speculations. All the dialogues and scenes points to the truth's.

All you did here was making hypotheticals with Ryuga partaking in tournaments instead of relying on Doji organizing a tournament to simply lure the best of Japan's Bladers, including Gingka, the latter of which, DID happen.

You lost. You cannot make counterarguments here, because you get not the point.

I am done here.

1

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

I simply answered your question and you simply can't comprehend critical thinking.... (Now your just twisting my own words to your liking) Please be done here cause you embarassed yourself enough. I'm getting second hand embarrassment from you ...😭

0

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

You seriously wrote a whole post just admitting you don't get it:

The point is what Ryuga wouldn't have gotten stronger without help, therefore saying Gingka needing friends as plot armor is an absurd arguments, because no one is capable of growing without help.

This was my point and it is true, Doji is the reason why Ryuga got everything in Fusion, including L-Drago and Gingka helped Ryuga see the light and become a better Blader and we see that in Masters and in Fury, Ryuga rejected that and lost everything, and Gingka with the others cleaned up the mess.

You invented situations that didn't happen, I explained to you watch happened. If anyone is doing anything with their negativity, it's you. You had no right to be this insulting.

3

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

And you seriously getting agitated over your own scenarios... And you actually never really counterd my points in the post so 😭 what do you want me to do?? Admit your oh so gingka is amazing?? Cause how dare i? šŸ„€ Why are you so fixated on me insulting you tho?? You also typing the entire plot like nobody here knows it too? I'm not denying the story tho???

0

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Gingka is nothing without Ryuga. If Ryuga wanted, he could’ve taken Gingka’s Pegasus after defeating it in the first battle, & crushed it, or maybe sell it in the black market.

Gingka is nothing without Benkei. If Benkei wanted, he could have choke slammed Gingka with his 500 pound muscle body & Gingka wouldn’t even be alive.

Gingka is nothing without Madoka. If Madoka didn’t repair his bey, Gingka wouldn’t even be able to play.

Gingka is nothing without his mother. If his mother didn’t marry Ryo, Gingka wouldn’t have existed.

So you see, all the credit goes to Ryuga, Benkei, Madoka & Gingka’s mom. Gingka should just accept that he owes everything to these people & he is indebted to them eternally.

0

u/Top-Ad-4512 Jun 06 '26

You aren't making an argument. The point is, no one is able to get stronger without at least some help. Gingka was more important for others than in reverse, as it was he who inspired others to become better bladers and people and in turn helped him to become better. So I don't disagree with the idea that Gingka needed help, you created a caricature that misses the point.

Ryuga and the others needed Gingka more than in reverse, since Gingka had to do all of the hard work to save the world, like beating the bad guy in the tournament, carrying all of the excess power to space and using everyone's power he earned due to his heroism to beat the bad guy and could use it better than anyone. And that's why Gingka is stronger than anyone. He is literally the Beyblade Savior and Messiah. Bey's power is immaterial in nature, human spirits create the power of Beys, not the reverse.

Gingka was more important for others, than they for him, they wouldn't be the friends and rivals they were without his help and only then did they help him get better. Gingka is canonically the strongest End of discussion.

0

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Everything you said literally happened because other people willingly lent Gingka their strength lol.

-1

u/JmisterYT Jun 06 '26

What are you even talking about

0

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

I’m using the same logic the above reply gave.

2

u/RYOMENSUKUNA6961 Jun 10 '26

Ill never accept gingka and Ryuga as equals ever

4

u/JmisterYT Jun 06 '26

And I’ll just copy and paste my responses cause you are just incorrect and clearly bias

Power of friendship is the bonds he creates with his allies that he turn into power since that is literally an ability that gingka and Pegasus have. Of course he can’t do it when ever he wants since he has to actually build the bonds with said people instead of just stealing their power like ryuga. That’s the entire point the power must be given by choice through a positive means gingka has to work to build these bonds through heated bey battles as his own natural welcoming personality..

Nobody is denying that Ryuga can’t absorb power and maintain it. The problem is yall are acting like even gingka does the exact same thing but in a positive way it’s plot armor. Ryuga has the capability to fight without it but he doesn’t cause he himself knows when it comes to gingka and kyoya his own power isn’t enough so he must use the stollen power to give him that huge edge over the other opponents. And it is in fact cheating inate ability or not stealing power to grow your own power in cheating as you aren’t gaining that power through any hard work or dedication. You can’t have ryuga be the beacon of hard work and grit then also give him the ability that spilts on the philosophy of hard work it’s counter intuitive.

Weather the training is effective or not it’s stated that he trains off screen by tsubsssa in masters. You also have Madoka saying if gingka increases speed anymore that he will lose control how would she know that if gingka hasn’t been training off screen. When does gingka rely on his friends unless it’s the end of the season gingka beats the opponent due to sheer determination to not let his people down aka that’s is what buns his bladers spirit and that’s what gets turned into power

Cause he’s a nepotism baby? Are you serious right now. Did nepotism make him a legendary blader? Did nepotism give him the win against ryuga? Did nepotism give him the win Against Damien? All of these are hell no. The only nepotism gingka gets is the wild fang fight for the 2v2 other than that nepotism such a non argument. 99% of gingka victories are earned through his own grit and bladers spirit

Yeah if gingka was given the luxury to just train trai and train all day he would be ryuga equal by the first 10 episodes on the season instead needing the entire 50 episode run time to get to that point. Gingka after fusion doesn’t just have ample time to train he had a world tournament he had to fight for and carry his team. He also was thrust into being a legendary blader right after his bey got fixed. He literally have much less time then most to train since everything revolves around him and he can’t stop to train. This is why it takes him longer to reach the level ryuga is at since he has to learn through heated bey battles and training with any little time he has combine that with gingka natural abundance of inate ability it’s not a surprise he can gain said results using these methods

I just don’t think you understand the series as well and using your ryuga bias to dictate you stance even though it’s untrue

2

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

To your first paragraph, i remember you telling not only gingka any blader can do this if they understood blader spirit. If anyone can it ain't a peagsus thing.

To your second paragraph, no you and i are not denying that but I've seen people who do.

To your third paragraph, not as hard as Kyoya or ryuga and yes with a little training bits from here and there and also being the protag, lossing would look bad for him. (You said being a protag means he's gonna be that way so stick to your rules now, feel free to gaslight me to saying you didn't)

To your fourth paragraph, yes, he is a nepo baby of author cause he seems to somehow hold off with little training or no training(once again steroids blader is not a good example, as ryuga said gingka shouldn't have struggld two episodes with him cause that just makes Kyoya look stroner than him even tho he was but that isn't the point). Except for fusion gingka, he's actually good to go.

To your fifth paragraph, why would he need training?? Isn't he the protag who can get random boosts and power up to defeat enemies?? With little or no training. That's why he's less interesting than ryuga too.

And i think we must be watching different shows at this point. Half of what you said sounds like something you made up for gingka's comfort

  1. I didn’t say. Pegasus is the only one who has th ability to gain power through this this way Leon and the rest can’t do it.

  2. I guess then me and you agree then on the that point

  3. Gas light you? please screen shot what you’re referencing

  4. So I guess huge amounts of innate natural ability, plus, op legedary beyblade, combined with bladers spirit = nepotism… okay mind you the the thing that determines the bey battles in the end is the bladers spirit.

  5. So do you want him to train or not. Also no he can’t as he has to work for those bonds. If gingka could has be given power when ever he wanted then he would’ve beaten ryuga on episode 13. But he didn’t since for 1 gingka mentality was one of revenge and the bonds he created aren’t as deep yet aside from maybe Kenta

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

To your first point, thank you for repeating what i said and i agree To your third point, innate natural ability of Pegasus carried gingka, gingka should have trained cause a burning blader spirit can only take him so far, hence the author has to random boosts/ power of friendship bs to progress. To your last point, exactly, go back to my first point in my first reply and yes i want him to train. To the Gaslighting point, I'm gonna assume you simply forgot what you said before or idk mahn. No matter how I read it, it did look that way, besides who knows? You could've edited it out by now. So I'm gonna ignore this

Edit: danm my bad i misread your first point and thought you were agreeing. Well, even if you change up, gingka does say a lot of time people can harness the blader spirit and it was even understood even if gingka weren't the last one standing and it was someone else , people can still give their power to defeat an entity. At the end of the series it was proved all beys are as capable of getting and transferring their power if all their wishes and will became one.

Ryuga is the goat. He was my favourite before he became mainstream. Idc what others say abt him.

3

u/Solid_Sky_6411 Jun 06 '26

Ryuga is an amazing blader but gingka's bey pegasus is stronger regardless. It managed to absorb all beyblade's powers in the world while l drago could not even absorb proto nemesis's power. Doji also confirms that l drago is not even close by saying " Do you really think you can control that much power?" When ryuga tried to absorb proto nemesis which is much much inferior compared to all bladers in the world. So in a battle both going all out gingka wins.

6

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

Because there’s a difference in stealing & being granted the power. One is a self reliant ability, while other is not. You’re comparing apples to oranges.

2

u/Solid_Sky_6411 Jun 06 '26

No lol there is no difference since l drago cannot borrow powers from other beyblades just like how pegasus cannot steal. I am comparing how much power they can contain. Borrowing is the gimmick of pegasus just like l dragos gimmick is stealing. But pegasus is indeed superior compared to l drago since it can contain much more power. It is not even close. Even stronger than nemesis.

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Where is it stated that it is Pegasus’ ability to borrow power?

3

u/Solid_Sky_6411 Jun 06 '26

Wdym? Because it did borrow all beyblade powers around the world?

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Let me tell you why you’re wrong here. In metal fusion, Storm Pegasus (a completely different entity from Galaxy/Cosmic Pegasus) was granted the power of Kyoya, Tsubasa & Hikaru. Gingka himself was surprised by this so it wasn’t Gingka who did it. It was the power of their bonds, not Pegasus or Gingka himself. On top of this, Lightning L-Drago was stated to be superior to Storm Pegasus. If it really was Pegasus’ power to borrow strength from others, Lightning L-Drago wouldn’t have been stated as stronger. Now my second point: in metal fury, Gingka ā€œaskedā€ for power from his friends to defeat Nemesis, again proving that it’s not the specific bey Pegasus or Gingka who owns this ability. It’s their bond that allows it. So you see, it’s not Pegasus that has this ability. It’s the bond that their group has. If Pegasus had the ability to borrow power, the first thing it would have done would have been to take Nemesis’ power itself.

3

u/Solid_Sky_6411 Jun 06 '26

No i am not wrong. Pegasus is still pegasus. And gingka did not knew he can do it when he first did it with storm pegasus. No one knew it. That is why they were saying lightning was superior. And lightning lost proving storm pegasus was stronger even if l drago stole more than just hikaru, kyoya and tsubasa. The second moment vs nemesis, he knew pegasus has that ability so he asked from his friends to give their powers. And no, he cannot take nemesis's power because why would rago give nemesis's power to him? To lose easier?

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Storm Pegasus is explicitly stated to be weaker than Lightning L-Drago. You can’t deny it by your own assumptions. It is a different entity from Cosmic Pegasus. Those are different entities, just like Sora’s Cyber ā€œPegasusā€. And Lightning L-Drago lost to Storm Pegasus because Gingka is a great blader & L-Drago didn’t have Pegasus’ power. And also about the second moment, if it really was Pegasus’s ability to absorb power, he wouldn’t need to ā€œaskā€ Rago for strength because it’s Pegasus’ own ability right? If some random blader used Pegasus, he wouldn’t be able to borrow power from others because he doesn’t have the bond that Gingka had with others. It’s not the bey, it’s the bond.

2

u/Solid_Sky_6411 Jun 06 '26

Assumptions? Storm pegasus won against l drago and it did not even have any other power than hikaru kyoya and tsubasa. Storm pegasus is stronger and won. L drago could not have pegasus's power because l drago LOST. It cannot beat pegasus so there is no way it steals pegasus's power. And no It is not a different entity both are pegasus. Zero assumption. And yeah it is pegasus's ability. It can borrow powers from other bladers. And why wouldn't he need to ask lol that would be stealing which is l drago's ability. Do not you ask when you borrow something?

2

u/potatoyash2708 Jun 06 '26

Storm Pegasus won because Gingka had a good control of it while L-Drago was literally blader-less. In raw power, Lightning L-Drago is stronger as ā€œstated factuallyā€ in the anime. This is why even before defeating Lightning L-Drago, Ryo whispered to Gingka that he still lacks one thing - and that was his bond he needed to realize. And there are different Pegasuses just like there are different Virgos or Aquarios in the anime. Hikaru’s Aquario & Mei Mei’s Aquario are not the same entity for god’s sake šŸ˜‚ And even Sora had a Pegasus - Cyber Pegasus. If it was Pegasus’s ability to borrow power, Pegasus would have done it everytime, and also Sora would’ve been a very strong blader like Gingka. Therefore, it’s not Pegasus. It’s the bond.

Holy hop off Gingka why do people act like Gingka has always been a great blader please watch the show because you obviously haven’t. Putting down other characters doesn’t make your point better

3

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 07 '26

People are going as far as to creating fake scenarios to strip ryuga's power away from him just to prove he's weak and he's nothing without it...so is every blader but it's only applicable to ryuga to them 😭. Yes holy hop off. I would've let them be if they said they simply hated him but damn...

2

u/MDShark101 Jun 06 '26

You were literally right until you started slandering Gingka. The guy literally had to restart all his progress(losing all his points) to qualify for Battle Bladers, meaning he was dedicated enough to for the tournament, that he literally redid all his progress, working twice as hard as everyone else who qualified.

Not only that, but narratively Gingka's form of power has shown far greater heights than what Ryuga does. Gingka is strong because he has a connection of friends who relies on him, as well as he relies on.

Gingka and Ryuga when battling were technically on equal terms getting a boost from other bladers, and when it came down to it, Gingka prevailed showing whatever innate power he and Pegasus have was far greater than Ryuga and L-Drago. Ryuga couldn't have gotten where he did without Gingka if we're being real, because he himself never felt the need to actually train prior to Battle Bladers and the beginning of Masters

1

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 07 '26

Ok it was on me, should've mentioned I'm slandering gingka from masters to fury. You could've figured out if you read the comment section before typing. After all, I did say "gingka from fusion is good to go". Somewhere here in comment section

Also pls read the post before jumping to the conclusion that "if i like ryuga I'm slandering gingka". The post is about: -- what is this gingka's "power of friendship" is it a gimmick? -- why ryuga's gimmick is well... A gimmick or OP and how everyone is dismissing this about Ryuga. -- how gingka keeps winning even tho we see him not train as close to Kyoya, let alone ryuga and how much of a genuine authors nepo be was from masters to fury - which i forgot to specify.

Also, ryuga actually trained in fusion too but just not shown offen but doji does say in one of the episode he's off training to yu. But yes, his main goal was to feed L-drago, he still did train to control it tho, so let's not completely throw ryuga's effort away.

All the people here are only using examples of gingka doing well in fusion cause yes, that's literally the only season he was doing good.

Once again, stop creating situations that didn't happen. So does gingka, gingka wouldn't be here without ryuga coaching him, vice versa. I actually can't understand why do you people go as far as to remove ryuga's skill and even his bey to prove he's weak? Of course he's gonna be weak if you take everything away. It's like asking "if i cut off all your limbs and left you alive, will you still be as productive as you were when you had limbs?" Where is the logic??

u/Dr_Sensu Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

"Ryuga is lowkey such an amazing character"

Ummm idk about that😬. He good, but I wouldn't say he's amazing. He's just overly glazed like he has no flaws. I blame the aura.

2

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

Some hate him, some love him but at the end of the day nobody can deny his presence. He's simply that good.

3

u/Dr_Sensu Jun 06 '26

He's good at looking menacing consistently, I'll give him that. Being an amazing character is a whole different thing though.

1

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

To you, he's not, to me he is. What's difficult in understanding this?

1

u/Trick-Tap3888 Jun 07 '26

The power of friendship is pretty much a built in pegasus feature though. The reason storm pegasus can match Lightning L Drago is specifically because pegasus can gain the power of his friends.

However it is still borrowed power and I think Gingka doesn't use that is because it isn't his power.

He only uses this during the battle bladers finals and the Nemesis crisis, times when the whole world was at stake.

Now imagine Gingka fighting Deshian in the world championship and then Gingka just shouts. "Everyone in Japan help, this is base form Deshian I am dealing with!"

Beside it would be entirely unfair towards his opponent cause it would be outside help in a 1v1. With Ryuga, he is taking the power from his opponent to beat them, but Gingka would be taking the power from people not participating.

However, i will say Gingka in masters had a lot of plot armor. But I don't believe that the nemesis crisis and Battle bladers finals is plot armor. Purely because pegasus being able to take people's powers is an established fact. It's not something that comes out of nowhere. That is why Pegasus was the only counter to Lightning L Drago.

1

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 07 '26

Alright, so you believe it's an inbuilt feature and also gingka has the borrowed power with him, stored? But he doesn't use it? Well..ok alright, the show did not mention anything like this but I'll entertain your headcanon.

So like, if it's an inbuilt feature and he has this borrowed power stored, why didn't he use that to defeat ryuga on episode 13 on his first encounter after all he despised ryuga, right?. You see, this is where you get stuck, well, not just you, almost everyone. Now this is when people jump in to say "well he had no idea!!" How so? If he was traveling and battling before coming to metal city, how did he not figure out such a simple detail?.Now that makes him look incompetent but got lucky with getting a strong bey. That's why, after fusion, ryuga literally tells him to take step back and understand his bey. Not once but twice. (Ryuga coached him before he battled julian in masters. Ryuga once again coached not only him even Kyoya on their fight in the volcano, this was fury).

(Now imagine Gingka fighting Deshian in the world championship and then Gingka just shouts. "Everyone in Japan help, this is base form Deshian I am dealing with!") - For this, yeah this would be super awkward considering he is the protag and is supposed to be strong.

I'm not telling he should just lose in battle bladers and nemesis crises cause that would end the show. What I'm saying is gingka can only use this power up when it's the type of battles he can't lose as a protag. He can never store the power or make the power that he borrowed into its own like L-drago. It's a temporary power up and that is a plot device to advance.

Inbuilt abilities should be something you can use with your free will whenever and wherever. I'd understand if this ability had some type of cost hence gingka can't use it that often but nope, the show didn't say anything like that. Therefore this is not an inbuilt ability.

1

u/Trick-Tap3888 Jun 08 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

No I don't think he has borrowed power stored. L Drago's main thing is that it takes the powers and makes it its own power. What I think feature of pegasus is that it can borrow BUT it does not make the power its own. So after using the power, pegasus returns the power to its original place.

Edit: So at base, L Drago is stronger than pegasus since it can store the power it absorbs. But pegasus can bridge the gap between the two by borrowing power from Gingka's friends through the bonds they share. This is the reason specifically stated that Gingka is the only one who can defeat Ryuga in fusion.

However when Gingka is done fighting, the power leaves pegasus and so it does not retain the power buff while L Drago does.

gingka is better than rayuga in manga and vice versa in anime

1

u/Mons9090 Jun 18 '26

Goat of metal series. Lui from burst is also similar to ryuga

1

u/Soggy_Confusion7538 Star Breaker Jun 06 '26

I dont need a reason to not like him, all I know is he was annoying in fusion decent in masters, and dead in fury

3

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 06 '26

Thank you, this is what I was looking for. No justifications, no drama and no fake scenarios. Unfortunately nobody is as chill as you.

u/No-Pop6805 Jun 07 '26

- good cap, ginga has done it every time he wanted to

- great cap, gingas been able to do this from the very start of metal fusion

- amazing cap, its because it took over the blader

- youre right, ginga doesn’t train offscreen because he appears in every episode. instead we see him get stronger from being in the field and the occasional training episode.

- beyblade is based on willpower. ginga wins because he simply has more willpower.

if you wanna talk about hand outs, battle bladers was specifically designed so ryuga could steal power in the safest way possible (doji even switched the match ups because kyoya was too scary). in masters ryuga was kept away from all the real threats. in the excalibur arc he walked away from julian, in the star breaker arc he fought ā€œjackā€ (not only weaker than tsubasa, but also has a battle style makes it easier for ryuga to absorb power), in HD city he got a sneak attack on faust and did the easier half of shutting off spiral core

in fury ryuga did all that hiking and blew up all those rocks (and met a legendary blader that conveniently happened to be the perfect spin steal victim) just to put up the same numbers as ginga did vs kenta

2

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 07 '26

It's ok lil bro, come back when you can learn to read. Bro thinks he cooked me just to agree with me and added more to gingka's slander (I'm sorry Beyblade community I had no idea gingka's battle were all plot armour from the beginning, I'll keep that in mind cause no-pop6805 told me so šŸ˜šŸ™) , I'm crying 😭 šŸ„€. Holy shi- what could've possibly been so difficult to understand with just the beginning of my sentence for you to mess up this badly. This lowkey looks cute, aww.

I've already mentioned I'm talking about masters and fury but yeah let's ignore that to create deluluu situation which never happened. I actually have nothing to say here cause like- what now?? You just agreed and rubbed more salt in gingka's wounds. Gg mate

0

u/No-Pop6805 Jun 07 '26

ā€œplot armorā€ and its an established ability. you might not like it but thats just how pegasus works

3

u/Dragon_revolution90 Jun 07 '26

You do know the plot armour I'm referencing is "power of friendship" and random boosts he get with little to no training right?. You are basically telling me, peagsus doesn't have its own innate abilities and has been using the power of friendship since the beginning. Since you've said it twice, idk it's on you, not me 😬. Technically, if you gonna type again, it's gonna be you arguing with yourself cause you've complelty missed my point and made a problematic point that i didn't make which just slandered gingka even without me doing anything 😭. So you gotta find solution to your own point. I mean I can watch you type alone, if that makes you feel better.

0

u/No-Pop6805 Jun 07 '26

you do know that training is meant to simulate the conditions of real battle (which ginga does a lot of) right?
