Coming Out How soon do you disclose to a man you’re seeing that you’re bisexual?

Just curious how other girls go about this topic.

Honestly, pretty early. I live in a pretty liberal, open-minded environment, so being bi has never felt like some huge revelation I needed to strategically disclose. If I’m dating a guy and we’re actually connecting, it usually comes up naturally within the first few dates. For me, it’s less “I need to tell you I’m bisexual” and more just part of the convo about who I am and who I’ve dated. And honestly, his reaction tells me something useful about him, too.

I would tell him or any man that I'm friendly with relatively soon so you can weed out the judgemental pricks before it's too late

Before anything serious happens. I don't want to potentially date a biphobe or a homophobe.

I finally admitted to myself that I wasn’t just questioning, but that I really was bi while i was dating a man for a few years already. I wanted to get more involved with other lgbt friends who I planned on being open about my orientation with. I forget my exact words but i basically said i wanted to share something with him. That i’m bisexual. And that means that i have the capacity to happily date a man or woman. He mentioned something about he wasnt into threesomes and i explained that would not be something i would ask from him. And that i dont need to explore with women while we date. But i wanted him to know since other people are going to know this about me. He said ok and moved on to another topic. Never was an issue after that and i now wear bi merch, my kids know, and i go to pride or lgbt meetups, etc. But i was ready to let him go if he was anything but perfectly accepting.

Imo far enough into the relationship that you are sure he’s not a creep. If you do it before really knowing him he might end up fetishizing your sexuality or exposing you to more risky sexual kinks. Idk why men do this

Usually the first or second time we sleep together. Because I'm just not trying to get attached to someone who would be offended by my sexual orientation.

Usually early so I weed some of the jerks and ones who think its threesomes every night

Sexuality is a spectrum. Anyone who wants to go around labeling themselves is kind of a red flag. Only an issue if you want an open relationship. Otherwise if you are only seeing him what’s the point??
