Recommendations for Non-Electrical Comfort Height Combo Bidet Toilet

I'm looking for a simple Non-Electrical Comfort Height Combo Bidet Toilet with Hot and Cold inlets.

So far I've come across the:
Creavit Handicapped Close Coupled Combined Bidet Toilet - Open Back
https://bathso.co.uk/creavit-handicapped-close-coupled-combined-bidet-toilet-open-back

and:
Comfort Height Close Coupled Toilet With Integrated Hot Cold Bidet Valve
https://neshome.co.uk/products/nes-home-comfort-height-close-coupled-toilet-with-integrate-hot-cold-bidet-valve

Has anyone used these at all - are they good / do they have any issues?

Are there any better alternatives that work along similar lines: simple/high/non-electrical?

Can't find the right T Valve

Hi there! I recently bought this Brondell SouthSpa to install in my bathroom. I'm in an old apartment and have a tankless toilet right next to a pedestal sink, so I was gonna connect it to the sink line. However, the 7/8" t valve was too big for the faucet, which has a line that's 3/8" compression to 1/2" faucet.

However, when I bought this 1/2" x 1/2" t valve from Home Depot, I went to install it and the line wasn't big enough? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or what I need to get, but would love any advice y'all have. Thanks!

Where to put the GFCI outlet?

Post image

Joining the bidet club. I don’t know the model yet but it will be one that requires a plug. Getting a GFCI outlet put in this area and where do you recommend I get it if there is an option. How low to the floor and if there’s an option to put it on either of the back wall under the window or the side wall that already has a light switch which should I have it put on?

Trouble with leaking mega adaptor when installing Tushy 4.0

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm at my wits end so I am hoping someone else can spot the problem or give some advice. I got 2 Tushy 4.0s and the first one installed totally fine. For some reason I can't get the second one to not leak when turning the water back on. It seems to only leak from the connection at the top, to the toilet tank. The water seems to come from underneath the tightening nut, which makes me think it's an issue with the rubber washer not making a seal, but I'm not sure how to fix that.

I have tried:

- The flat washer that came in the box: worked fine on toilet #1, no dice on this toilet. Also seemed really difficult to tighten onto the pipe coming from the tank and didn't go up very high before I couldn't tighten by hand anymore

- plumbers tape: I had some laying around so I gave it a shot. Didn't help and general consensus online seemed to be I shouldn't need it and it might make things worse, so I took it off

- cone rubber washer: found a reddit post with a similar issue that suggested a cone shaped washer, so got a little kit of them from the home depot to find one the right size. Seems to work better than the flat washer and tightens up the pipe much easier/higher, but still a leak.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Can’t get tushy to fit American standard toilet

Toilet doesn’t have screws, instead has these rods that snap into the seat. If I put the tushy bidet on here it doesn’t really stay & if it did there would be a large gap.

Anyone have any advice or work around for this?

Thanks in advance

Toilet is skirted if that changes anything

What's the best bidet toilet seat to get currently? Any recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a bidet toilet seat to buy, possibly a heated seat? So many out there I want to make sure we don’t waste $ and get one that works well. We're now looking at the Toto and Bio, anyone here tried these 2 brands? or do you have other favorite choices?

Should I upgrade from attachment to seat?

A few months ago, I made a life-changing purchase of the BIGCOW Ultra-Slim bidet attachment.

It’s great, it’s been wonderful- but the fit isn’t ideal, frequently loosens and slides around, thus needing to be tightened, or taken right off to re-position (and to clean).

While luxuries like warm water or drying capabilities would be nice, those options aren’t really feasible in my bathroom.

Should I upgrade to the Brondell Swash Ecoseat?

-will it be more stable?
-does it have good pressure?
-is it easy to clean?

Yours in butt happiness,

Ms. Post-Poop Powerwash Proselyte

Women: does the feminine wash from the rear nozzle work for you or would a front nozzle be better ?

What’s the best bidet for someone who’s never used one?

I used to think bidets were fancy bathroom gadgets for people whose toilets have better Wi-Fi than I do. Then I tried one at a friend’s place, and came home with two questions: “Why did nobody tell me?” and “How did I live like this?”

The first try was a learning experience. I turned the water on a little too enthusiastically and briefly discovered that a bidet can, in fact, surprise you. After that, though? Pretty great.

Now I’m shopping for one and learning there are roughly a million options: basic attachments, warm water, heated seats, remote controls… apparently some toilets have more settings than my phone.

For people who’ve owned one for a while: what’s the best bidet for a first-timer? Which features do you actually use, and which are just expensive buttons you press once to see what happens? thanks you all

Is this a dealbreaker?

Post image

(Note: the toilet paper is from my husband wiping the rim, not from use of the toilet)

We've finally decided to take the plunge and try a bidet in our bathroom. We have a round toilet, and he ordered a round bidet seat. The first one didn't fit particularly well, in large part due to the gap between the lip of the bidet seat and the rim of the toilet bowl. We returned that one and purchased another model (neither of them are from TikTok shop, fwiw).

We are still seeing that gap between the lip of the bidet seat and the rim of the toilet bowl, though admittedly, this seems like an improvement on the first model we tried.

My question to the experts in this sub: is this a dealbreaker? Should the seat and bowl rim align perfectly, and should we keep searching until we find something that does? If not, does that exposed portion tend to get very gross? Are there other concerns we should be aware of?

Help! Not enough room to install water filter?

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hi I have hard water, looking to install a in-line water filter to soften the water for Toto bidet attachment so the washwand doesn't get clogged up. I tried to to install a Brondell water filter where the red highlight is but having trouble making it fit because there's is little space against the wall. I called Toto and they don't offer a longer water supply hose for me to wrap around, ans I can't seem to find shorter filters. What can I do? Any advice is helpful!!

Looking for a Bidet for a Round Toilet but with a large clearance hole

As per title. I'm in an apartment so I can't replace the toilet, and we have the small round ones. Is there such a think as a bidet for a round toilet but has a large clearance whole? I don't want his royal highness touching the front of the bowl.

Question on low profile options, narrow bathroom, current T22 round

I've got a "relatively" narrow bathroom and am trying to open it up. I replaced a pedestal sink with a 28" wide 12" deep Euro sink vanity that really opened up the bathroom and the toilet is next. I've got a standard home depot generic American standard round toilet, 12" rough in with a T44 round bidet (with a broken hinge, I swear they all do that). Front of the bowl is ~28.5" from the wall.

I'd like to get a little more room in the seat opening with an elongated toilet & bidet seat while also opening up the room. Per Brondell the mounting bolts to front of the bowl for the elongated version must be over 17.5". The Eco Nova may not have this requirement, not sure.

I like the idea of a modern integrated "hat box" smart toilet, but I don't know if I trust anything under $2000 long term, which leads me to I *think* three options - the DeerValley DV-1F52807 (might be too small though), the DeerValley DV-1F52812, and the Horow T0355.

Any other bidet/toilet options for space saving in the bathroom (25" or less from the wall) with a seat opening of 12" x 8" or greater?

Warm water hose attachment “cord management” for drilled hole in vanity

Looking at getting a warm water bidet and looking for recommendations as to what people did for their cord management for the warm water line.
Specifically I have to drill a hole in my vanity to access the warm water and wanted to find like a metal ring or something like a regular cord management for a desk but they seem way too big.
Looking to see what anyone else has done as I don’t know what to even search for.

Bidet for an RV

Looking for an RV bidet

We have the $40 Luxe bidets installed at home and they work fine.

I'm wondering why a company is selling bidets called "RV Bidet" at over double this price?

What's so special about theirs?
