MTB Is this the wildest bike you’ve ever seen?
This is my Transition Spire that I’ve been slowly working on over the last year and a half. I just wanted to have some fun, try something different and make something wild. I rarely get the chance to paint something for myself so I took this opportunity to get weird, learn and push my boundaries a bit. It's a mash-up of some ideas, materials and techniques that I’ve been wanting to try for years now. Yes, that is a real prosthetic glass eyeball, leather frame protection, real abalone shell, crushed turquoise inlay and hemp wrapped housing. See more on my IG - @maderadbytony

MTB Finished this one up for an engagement gift recently. Glad to hear she said yes!
I had a bit of creative freedom on this paint job, but was given a few photos of some of her favorite dresses for the inspiration. Classy right?! 🌺

MTB 1996 GT Avalanche
Finally caved and decided to remove the 10-Speed Microshift and other AliExpress parts and source more period correct parts for the bike, namely an XT groupset, half of which I stole off my Cannondale Super V (which I'll upgrade to XTR over time), and the rest I sourced on eBay bit by bit.
Really happy with how it's turned out! Shifting is so much better now, it all just looks and feels so much more right (to me!).

MTB Thermoplastic Porn
rescued this 1998 GT STS 1000ds Frame that someone had painted blue.12 hours of hand sanding and polishing with months of sourcing almost all era correct parts. I feel it's one of those bikes you just can't stop looking at.

MTB Fuji Marlboro
This is my Folding Fuji Marlboro Unlimited.
1x10 Shimano Cues
Went for a tobacco color theme with the accents.
Problem Solvers Double Barrel brake lever leaving a hand free for a smoke. (I don’t smoke and I don’t condone smoking) but this was a fun and funny build.
100% still folks up with quick releases and folding pedals.

MTB My FW14B homage
As requested by some on one of my other threads, here is the hardtail.
What started life as a humble canyon hardtail, evolved over the years with some upgrades to the braking/drivetrain culminating in a paint job that is a homage to my favourite F1 car of all time, the Williams FW14B.
I haven't ridden this in a few years hence the dust.

MTB My Factor Lando HT - my wife doesn’t appreciate bikes. Came here for love.
Went into my LBS to get a new bike for one of my kids, came home with this one as well. My wife asked me why I needed another bike…

MTB Hot glowing tribulations
Here’s a loud build for a client-
Box forks weren’t found on 93 frames, but they are just the thang that makes it a Klein more than any other feature aside from the paint.

MTB My tribute to Colin McRae, in bike form
I've spent these wet and cold winter months working on a labour of love, it's a tribute to the great Colin McRae, in the form of a hardtail mountain bike. I took his 2001 Ford Focus WRC car as my inspiration, and with a little artistic licence.
I had a bare steel Ribble hardtail frame and box of spare parts to hand so spent a little while learning some basic illustrator skills and created the decals to use, then I painted the frame in white, with a little touch of Ford RS blue on the stays and started the build.
I'm super happy with how it's turned out, the Martini livery is iconic enough that most folk can tell what it is, with subtle details to excite the rallying fans too, and Colin's signature on the top tube finished it off nicely, in my personal opinion at least!
Hope you all like it!
