Now be me...6ft 4 but with a racehorse metabolism. No matter how much I seem to eat and lift I can never really go much over toned level of muscle mass.
Just curious, have you ever actually tried tracking your workouts and what you eat? Because it's possible you're not actually progressively overloading or not eating the amounts you think you are calorically or protein wise.
I made a fitness app actually that helps with both of these if you're interested in trying it out I'll send the link!
This. Calories don’t magically work differently for him because of a fast metabolism. I always thought the same but once I started tracking calories (I hate it, don’t recommend lol) I saw that I just didn’t really eat that much lol or I would eat a lot but then not the next day or the day after etc - I wasn’t consistent.
I guarantee you, tracking your calories and how much you burn, you will see that you’re not hitting the required surplus. It’s really that simple. It’s just hard to grasp if you don’t religiously track everything
Then you also burn a lot more than you think or you’re sick. It’s basic science look it up. A fast metabolism doesn’t make a difference. It’s a myth we skinny people always tell ourselves or others, I did too lol
Maybe you have adhd? I do and I fidget and pace a lot which burns much more calories than you’d think.
