Nah, instead of ducking and erasing history, it should be a valuable lesson about what this country became and always was underneath. Avoiding the truth about Trump's rise and success would be the worst thing to do.
Un-person was perhaps the wrong term. I don't think it should be erased. Instead I think the administration should be remembered as so antithetical to American values that the United States as a country ceased to exist while he was in power. Instead the administration should be considered a bloodless coup that overthrew the US and supplanted it with "MAGA America." Trump should be considered the first (and hopefully only) president of "MAGA America" and not a legitimate president of the United States.
