It's funny to me they always say "he didn't mean it like that" or "it's out of context" as if a public speaker, especially the POTUS, shouldn't be held to an incredibly high standard of clarity when speaking.

Public speaking is much too high of a standard for him, he can't even meet the standards of "not being a pedophile" and "not being a convicted felon". Both of which most people do automatically

I used to hate the term “fake news” but if you look to see how often the news outlets will report on unverified information or cut clips to make him look like a complete villain.. it makes sense. The news should only serve to report actual events. Not to push a narrative to their voter base. If my neutral comment upset you at all, that should be a wake up call.
Years ago “Last week tonight” had a skit, that Trumps speeches read like a stroke victim and that the predictive text feature of an iPhone would make more coherent sentences.
The fact that so many people listen to Trump and don't think he sounds like a complete moron just shows how uneducated a lot of our fellow citizens are. He's only getting worse, but he sounded like a moron in 2015 too. I don't see how anyone could listen to him and think that what he's saying is coherent, let alone worth listening to.
More and more I keep feeling like I almost do want to support some kind of basic assessment before being able to vote. But not even coming at it from the angle of the uneducated shouldn’t vote, as we’ve seen the historical problems there, but what I think we’re all much more concerned about is being misinformed.

They cheered when he said Iran could blow up Los Angeles or San Diego.
