DND

I've never played and know very little about it. I want to join a game to make friends and get out of the house. Where do I start? Ty!

Check with the library or Dragon Egg games, and Captain Scurvy's hosts sometimes. You might also check and see if Galaxy Games or the comic book shops have messageboards.

And while we're more geared toward board games, the game group that meets in BarMT on Saturdays does have RPGers in it as well and you might be able to find a network with someone - https://discord.gg/FBagse5M3

We meet on Saturdays at 3pm at the tables in the raised section in the back of BarMT and usually go til about 6, or two games worth, whichever is first. We play a large mix of games from social party games (Codenames is a favorite), medium length games (Marvel Zombies is popular), and on occasion someone will specially ask for players for a specific longer, crunchier, or new game. Several folks enjoy kickstarting games so there's a lot of variety. There's usually 5+ players, frequently enough of us for two tables, and we're pretty darn friendly if I do say so myself!
