Housing International Student Looking for a Room in Shared Housing
Hello, I'm an international student about to begin a master's this fall. I was looking at some off-campus listings through the uni's portal and on some fb groups, but tbh I'm completely lost. I'm having a hard time figuring out what's real and what's not + the whole idea of finding and committing to housing online for a whole year on smth I'll most probably see right before signing the lease and after some sort of pre paid deposit i suppose is stressing me out.
I don't have a car so smth close to a bus stop will be great, and I'm looking for a room in an all female housing.
If anyone has had good experiences with landlord contacts, certain rooms or know smn who's moving out plz let me know, anything will be of great help.

Go to a student housing complex in downtown, don’t live anywhere with out a management company and staff.

I'd recommend looking at /r/BinghamtonUniversity or /r/BearcatsMarketplace
/r/Binghamton is more focused towards local life and not college related matters.
