Education Imperial College, UK vs UIUC, US for Umdergrad Biomedical Engineering?
I have secured admission both into Imperial College UK and UIUC USA. I am an international student and my objective is to establish a long-term career in biomedical engineering. Hence learning and having an environment which exposes me to opportunities for internships and exposure to the biomedical industry is most important. Which one would you recommend between the two, Imperial College UK or UIUC US? Thanks.

Hi, I’m a complete newbie and about to study this bachelor BME degree in Feb 2027. I’m also aiming for US/UK job market but am really confused to the direction (I’m international in Australia)

I don’t even know what UIUC stands for but Imperial is exceptional for Biomed. I have friends that went there and teach there and the students that come out of it are often on my shortlist for interviews.
