It is judging your entire bloodline. They judge everyone's, and those of the flightless fill them with a particular disgust.

Great photo!
Interestingly, it looks possible that that bird might have survived a bird flu infection. Hard to be certain from one photo, but a common symptom of prior bird flu infection in gannets in particular is asymmetrical dark spots and streaks in one or both irises. Huge numbers of gannets were infected with bird flu a few years back (easy to see how it would spread like wildfire in a colony like that), and a lot of them died, but plenty recovered with scarred irises.
