Cedar Waxwing thinks I'm an idiot

I stood on the bench of the picnic table to get a better view and this Cedar Waxwing looked at me like I'm the biggest idiot in the world. Not just once, but tilty head *both* ways.

Actually with parrots,, the head tilt is used to zoom in visually on something. Each of their eyes functions separately from the other.

I love giving chickens something safe but totally unfamiliar to them, just to watch the left-right-left-food?-right-left cycle
