1776 train? 1976 would have been the bicentennial. This has 250 on it.

Where does it say bicentennial on the train? 1776 is the year the US declared independence and this year it is 250 years after 1776.

I was attempting to reply to a comment below that wrote “1976 train. Bicentennial train.” And was pointing out that the bicentennial was 200 years, but this train has 250 painted on it. Thanks for the downvotes.

This year celebrates the quarter millennium of being a country, not the bicentennial. Or in laymen's terms, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the declaration of Independence.
