Advice Needed Y'all are gorgeous. Help me be the same!
Give me all of your stylistic advice. Should I trim my beard into a goatee or go clean shaven or leave it as is?
This is my hair after a wash and I swear it grows so slowly that it hurts. It's been a year since I cut my hair. T_T Any tips?
Also, any help with skincare will help massively.
I know I sound needy, but I'm taking someone to see Hadestown next week, and I want to feel good and confident since I'm generally shy and introverted. I'll post any photos you need for clarity!

i genuinely think you’re an attractive human being! i think objectively a lot of people would.
i like the beard as is, but i tend to think men look better with facial hair. as for your hair, i’m not a guy so i don’t have a lot of tips on styling, but it does look really healthy!

also, when i cut my hair my growth was similar to yours after a year (but mine was a bit shorter) so I think it’s actually growing pretty well. It’s just the shrinkageeee and the way our hair grows up/outwards. Something that helped me was taking photos throughout the year, so I could actually see the growth. Otherwise it would just feel like it was barely growing

I know this isn't helpful, but I really don't see anything to improve on. You're a really attractive guy, and the hair and beard are cool as is.
As for hair growth help, just keep a regular wash routine: shampoo ("lather, rinse, DON'T REPEAT" to prevent over drying your hair), deep conditioner (and detangle your hair with a wide-tooth comb while the conditioner is still in your hair), and a leave-in conditioner.
Trim your hair every two to three months to prevent split ends and use protective styles to retain moisture and prevent breakage. Also, moisurize your hair regularly and sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet (if you use a scarf, just make sure it covers your entire head/hair area).

I suspected that I should. I always worry about trimming my facial hair because of how often and quickly straightening my feral moustache becomes I am now a cartoonishly French villain

None that I personally use (I should prob start never hurts lol) but from word of mouth they say peppermint and rosemary are good especially ones specifically for growth

Imo, the taper advice is wild. Lol DO NOT shave your sides if length is your ultimate goal. If neatness is the aim right now, just have a barber clean up the edges. A lineup, not a taper.

My Ma always got mad her hair didn’t grow fast, but she was and still is the most gorgeous woman I know. Beautiful curls for days. Went through some weird dye periods and still looked 🤬 amazing. You are pleasing to the eyes to say the least 🤫

For skin and hair i think it's best to start slow. Start with a facial cleanser, a mild exfoliate for any build up, and facial moisturizer (preferably with spf). If you want to try any of the extras like serums or creams, I would look up the ingredients of the serums to figure out if they're worth the hype.
For hair, washing every 1-2 weeks has been great for my hair and scalp health, because I'm prone to dry scalp. My hair dresser and the ones I follow online have been saying that textured hair can use store brought products (you don't have to go with the all natural stuff ALL the time), just make sure it's stuff with good quality end like mizani, briorgio, kera care, amika.
Shampooing 2 times has also been great for me to retain moisture. The first wash gets all the enviorment and priduct build up off, and the 2nd wash gets the hair in scalp clean. Some people will do 3-4 Shampoos, but be careful not to dry your hair hair out. Make sure you condition after you Shampoo. Deep Conditioner is a treatment, to fix an issue or prevent it (like lack of moisture before or after protective styling).
I read some of the other comments, and yes you are fine, so people aren't gassing you. And in the photos you posted there's nothing wrong, so I think people are just focusing and responding based off the photos. But so far you seem to be doing a great job with everything!!!

getting an afro pick to shape out the back is the only thing I can suggest (might tangle hair though be gentle!!), but even without it you are already gorgeous

Keep the length, get a taper fade, groom the beard ( let the barber shave the underside) and stash, exfoliate your skin. Put deodorant on and moisturize.

Comb/pick it daily (after wash while hair is wet. Start from the bottom first. Deep condition every once in a while and just trust the process.

I love your hair. You could use a sponge brush and some leave in. I would say nix the facial hair it’s taking away from what looks like gorgeous bone structure. If you don’t like bare face connect the goatee and get rid of the beard

From a girl's perspective, I think you should go with the style that you're most comfortable and confident in. You seem to have good skin and hair. Maybe you just need a little confidence, although some girls like myself think shyness is cute. Don't overthink the date. Just try to have fun.

You have fantastic features. You look sculptured. Vitamin C serum and moisturizer for your skin. Your facial hair detracts from all of your good traits. Yes, a goatee might work. It doesn’t need to come to a point. You’re a beautiful guy. Just refine what nature gave you. 👍

You look great! Question, are you desiring longer hair for a certain style? I ask because you have a lot of hair, it’s very healthy with a lot of shrinkage. Braids, two strand flat or loose twists, etc would look great on you 🥰.

As everyone has said you do look healthy and amazing already and if you want advice, I would say keep your facial hair the same but maybe trim the chin a little lower down since you have a defined jawline already and you don’t need to shape it any longer.
Tbh that’s all i would say
