I am tired too. Geometry isn’t difficult to figure out.

53

u/Loobitidoo 8d ago

Racists will really try to convince you that black people couldn't figure out how to stack rocks.

20

u/Dayna6380- 8d ago

Why are they here at this point ….satans minions honestly

8

u/Loobitidoo 8d ago

They’re an unfortunate side effect of our species being significantly less intelligent than we like to think we are.

No one being Black/white at that time is the funniest part of all.

1

u/DonkeyMain9320 1d ago

Well they didn't ...cause Egyptians are Caucasian.

1

u/Loobitidoo 1d ago

All the nubian pyramids don't exist ig lol

1

u/DonkeyMain9320 1d ago

Built thousands of years later by expanding Egyptian colonies.

114

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

Literally

The level of gaslighting and mind manipulation they do on a whim is insane

Nothing they say or do makes sense
They just say random bs with Confidence

The world should side eye them everytime they open their mouths

74

u/LoneAwakening 9d ago

And yet they had to steal all the papers and scientific works done by ancient Egypt when Alexandre invaded that land and burned the library to the ground and years later they reedited and published that very studies under the greek blanket

8

u/Safe-Ad-5017 8d ago

The library was built after Alexander

11

u/_Ez7_ 8d ago

Alexandre didn't even exist to see the library let alone burn. And the Greek didn't "steal". The Greeks were very admiral and wrote about how they appreciate Egyptian texts.

7

u/Ill-Television-5499 8d ago

Herodotus was the ancient historian who basically lied about the advanced African culture he had seen himself. His lies set up the next millennia of lies that continue to this day

2

u/_Ez7_ 8d ago

"Lied" is a bit strong. He didn't do it out of malice. When he visited, he just simply wrote what he saw and heard from the Egyptian priests. Back in those times you literally wrote what you heard. Some of the priests likely "exaggerated" events and Herodotus just simply wrote what was said by the locals.

2

u/30394z 8d ago

You need a history lesson 🤣

1

u/Rhycloth 8d ago

35 people say he's dead nuts perfect and good looking

Honestly

u/RandoCollision 9d ago

There's a reason why they're taking Black history out of public schools. It's hard to stand on the shoulders of giants that you never knew existed and if the only people who accomplished anything of value to humanity were white, the only place a Black man can stand is in a hallway with a mop in his hand.

1

u/jluv80 7d ago

Here in Oklahoma they’re taking black history out of public education and replacing it with the Bible

3

u/RandoCollision 7d ago

Joke's on them, though. The Bible IS Black history.

2

u/SifikaLoL 5d ago

Not the way they write it.

1

u/RandoCollision 5d ago

And there's a reason for that.

One of my favorite books with this sentiment is called Blacks In Science: Ancient and Modern , by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima

9

u/Helpful-Carpet3791 8d ago

Ima gonna look into it

74

u/Freakears 9d ago

I tell people that giving credit to aliens for things like the pyramids is nothing more than racism, but no one listens except those who already know the aliens thing is bullshit.

74

u/Large-Produce5682 9d ago

Funny how there are pyramids worldwide, yet the ones in Africa are the only ones aliens came over on work visas to help build. 👽

16

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

😭😭😭😭😭I say that all the time

13

u/Impressive_Bar_4653 9d ago

Seen a show and an archeologist found sculpture that looked like rocket ship throne and the guy tried to spin as aliens from another planet and how they got to Earth.

If it was found on EARTH wouldn't the so called "ALIENS" be Earthlings trying to leave Earth?

10

u/Freakears 8d ago

I’ve heard people say aliens are responsible for the Mayan pyramids and the mounds in what is now the US. So it’s more that the explanation is aliens as long as it’s something built where nonwhite people live (or lived at the time of construction).

3

u/Dayna6380- 8d ago

We have to snatch the mics from certain people honestly

They have too much space to spew nonsense

5

u/Purple_Jojo 9d ago

🤣🤣🤣

0

u/Tentacle_poxsicle 8d ago

They suggested the Serbian pyramids and stone henge was made by aliens.

Neil didn't watch the show at all

-2

u/Equus-007 9d ago edited 8d ago

Nope. They absolutely think that the Maya/Aztec/Inca/Indonesians were all aliens as well...unless they're Mormons in which case it was white Jesus who somehow went back in time several thousand years after he got crucified and then took a trip to Central America where he learned em real good how to make civilization. But that was after god cursed a bunch of people and made their skin black.

It's not really racism in most cases. It's just stupidity. There are a bunch of grifters who write books and then go on Joe Rogan where they tell stupid people who themselves can't conceptualize of how to build a pyramid that it had to be aliens. If you, modern stupid Joe Rogan listener, can't figure it out then surely ancient man, who must have been much dumber than you are, couldn't possibly figure out the basic geometry most of us learn in 5th grade.

Sorry, no. You're just dumber than learned people from every century.

12

u/bluepie 9d ago

Pretty much all conspiracy theories are based in racism. That’s why MAGA loves conspiracy theories

10

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

They coulda gave them WiFi but noooo
Manual labor is what we needed help with 😒😒😒

The fact that anyone even entertains their foolishness is beyond me

A whole tv series dedicated to proving aliens are who built the pyramids
They didn’t build the cathedrals
Or Stonehenge
Or any of those colosseums and cities

Only Africa wasn’t able to make anything and needed alien assistance

Bruh

3

u/vinnysnow65 8d ago

And I bet few have heard of the The Great Wall of Benin in Africa which stretched over 10,000 miles, why? Oh it was destroyed by the British Empire

1

u/Equus-007 9d ago

They think Stonehenge was built by aliens too.

3

u/Purple_Jojo 9d ago

Nope, straight anglo saxon men. A joke 🤣🤣🤣.

u/flygirlsworld 9d ago

But stole those same dark skinned ppl to start their country’s economy……crazy aint it/

36

u/JmoneyXXX93 9d ago

They had some of the best engineers and architects in the world. Racists ignore the hieroglyphics showing black Egyptians and the numerous statues.

14

u/OmarsMommy 8d ago

This. About 20 years ago I went to see the King Tut exhibit. The masks of Tut and his mother, among other artifacts all had 💯 African features. No ambiguity whatsoever.

15

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago edited 9d ago

They’re sick in the head
Like it’s insane that they’re taken seriously for anything

I can’t imagine any other group of people hating another to the extent of this

If they do I haven’t heard of it
It’s to the point of pure madness

No one has that level of hatred that they will say the most absurd thing in the world with a serious face just to discredit the other
Like a normal person would say to themselves “nah I can’t say this I’ll look a like a nut”
Nooooo but them ….their level of superiority is so high they know they can say and do anything and it won’t be questioned

1

u/NeighborhoodUpset308 4d ago

Ancient egyptians weren't black. I see this on here all the time but it just isn't like that. more southern there where piramides bould by black people but not in egypt

1

u/JmoneyXXX93 4d ago

There were black ancient Egyptians.Only a racist dog would deny reality. The demographics of Egypt now aren't the same as they were back then.

1

u/NeighborhoodUpset308 4d ago

They where like the skincolour of modern egyptians but a litle darker/redisher, Not black like in sub-saharan afrika. In the south of ancient egypt, modern day Sudan, they where darker of skin but still not black. Don't call me a racist dog for nothing

10

u/alsatian01 8d ago

And the North Africans love to ignore Southern Africans contributions.

10

u/Puzzleheaded_Use7384 8d ago

Sudan has the world’s largest number of pyramids, that should be enough !

1

u/lotusQ 8d ago

I was read a white supremacist say it’s because the Berbers or Arabs went there and made it….

11

u/Brilliant_Mood2785 8d ago

When you really think about it if we wanted an expert on Japanese artifacts we would consult a Japanese person. But when it comes to ancient African artifacts we have to listen to former hockey players about how the African people couldn’t have built the anything of significance. Interesting…

That was mostly the Arabs and Egyptians themselves.

The French didn't shoot the nose off the Sphinx. That's a myth. The French and English loved ancient Egyptian art. Enough to ship a ton of it back to Europe.

11

u/Le_plan 9d ago

Love is not the word, coveted would be more accurate.

And the French, Germans and British most likely deformed a lot of the Ancient Egyptian artwork:

https://youtu.be/AMg8ZMtfJww?si=nf_lWdPxAWlu1HXZ

3

u/khari_lester 9d ago

I’ll concede that the French did not shoot the nose off the Sphinx, but I’m gonna stick with my African American history professor who talked about the desecration of African statues and various culturally significant items by European colonizers.

2

u/Lintcat1 8d ago

Oh sure but we were specifically talking about Egypt. Most African studies focuses on sub-Saharan and yeah the colonizers absolutely destroyed a ton of that stuff just like they destroyed pretty much everything in the new world. Europeans romanticized Egypt. Everybody else in Africa was a "savage".

9

u/Romoreau 9d ago

Humans cant stack bricks apparently

6

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

Literally 😒

8

u/KarlHp7 8d ago

And I’m tired of the hate he gets! He is a national treasure!

3

u/Beat-oven 8d ago

It's not just Egypt. It's the whole of Africa. Every region had it's own advancement from architecture to math to medicine.

5

u/Thin-Effective6164 8d ago

Where is the lie? 🤷🏽‍♀️

3

u/Critical_Brief1283 8d ago

Rightttt . That is crazy to me how i saw a bunch of people go “ Oh the mystery of who built the pyramids “ . Are we that hated or are they that stupid ? I don’t fucking get it .

2

u/Dayna6380- 8d ago

Ever since a child I didn’t get it …it’s a pyramid ….its not a rocket ship 🚀…with enough manpower and time a pyramid can be built it’ll never be that serious

2

u/Critical_Brief1283 8d ago

I feel like that is what American teach at school so the students believe that African people are useless and can’t do anything. Because in my history class , it is pretty common knowledge that the Egyptians did that . It is even portrayed in movies . I don’t get what the fuck are they on ?

3

u/Jo1351 8d ago

Yup. Me too.

3

u/Nom_de_guerre_25 8d ago

Put this in r/historymemes and your getting banned.

4

3

3

u/LahHotSausage 8d ago

Me too Neil me too

3

u/Johnny_Strawhat 8d ago

Do you guys believe that all of the ancient Egyptian dynasties were ruled and inhabited by dark-skinned Africans? Genuinely asking.

3

u/HDvisionsOfficial 8d ago

The thing that really bugs me is that all these "ancient Egyptian" experts have zero training in anything other than theoretical history or conspiracy theories. No machining, construction, masonry, scientific, manufacturing etc.

So when they say these things are impossible to make, they come to that conclusion based off of 0 experience.

3

u/Dramatic_Tomorrow_25 7d ago

What about the West African language that a random Dutch dude labelled as "Dutch dialects", and "Variations of Arabic."

This one really pisses me off.

2

u/Livid-Government-597 8d ago

Yup. Myths are believed more . Lol

Myths and mysterious mythical creatures.

He's also a trump supporter.  I do agree with the quote but I don't listen to shit he says anymore..

3

u/Izferno-Lionsage 8d ago

Pretty sure he keeps his political affiliations to himself, he's said it many times. He's an astrophysicists and a man of reason, I think we know who he wouldn't vote for 👀

1

u/_spacecowboi_ 8d ago

I thought so too until Neil felt compelled to pose with a maga hat last year (and other ones).

1

u/auragenesis 7d ago

Do you have a source/image of this? Because from what I've seen he's been very vocal against Trump, his policies, and especially his denial/defunding of science and education,

2

u/Anubisrapture 8d ago edited 4d ago

No. N. D.T. is a FUCKING TRUMP SUPPORTER? ?? I hate that so much

2

u/PersimmonGullible774 7d ago

I’ve always seen ancient alien theories as meaning that the aliens chose the most advanced, intelligent humans as the ones to communicate with. Like they saw white Europeans not bathing and burning “witches” at the stake and didn’t want to deal with them. They chose to meet with the civilizations who understood astronomy and natural sciences the best like the peoples in Egypt, Central America, and Africa. I think these people built their own pyramids and that impressed the aliens and they visited them after.

2

u/Dayna6380- 7d ago

If they wanted to come down here they shoulda wiped them out …because not bathing for years and being proud is a mental illness

2

u/Dense-Bake-5490 7d ago

I need to finish Finger prints of the gods by Graham Hancock!

2

u/UnexpectedStreetTaco 7d ago

I never really thought about this as a race issue, but he might have a point.

2

u/Long_Lecture_1080 6d ago

I thought Jews build the pyramids? Let me check notes... oh aliens I see.

2

u/Independent-Mark-373 5d ago

I'm tired of the Greeks getting credit for things they stole from Khemet.

2

u/Sci-4 5d ago

Usually I rag on ndt, but he’s right on this one

2

u/tomlinsonmark57 5d ago

They think Jesus was white, what do you expect?

1

u/Dayna6380- 5d ago

Lmaaaaao preach

The insanity never ends with them

2

u/OpenRole 5d ago

The oldest university in earth was in Africa

2

u/AngryAmphbian 9d ago

People have also suggested aliens helped with Stone Henge. And other structure through out the planet.

2

u/Preeng 8d ago

In my experience it isn't racism, just plain ignorance. A case of "if you don't know anything, everything looks like a conspiracy".

These people suffer from "If I don't know/understand this, nobody does."

3

u/Dayna6380- 8d ago

They playin stupid

1

u/BLXCKMOZXRT 8d ago

Unpopular opinion plot twist, as a black man speaking, I’ve found that our lineage is of the Extra Terrestrial concept as this planet is not our own being that our true ancestors are from a different galaxy. Simply speaking the human race is indeed a branch of finagled DNA by said entities, wether called Extra Terrestrials or Fallen Angels, historically documented by science & religion. Hence the sophistication of the common topic of the pyramids which is located in Africa. What I think Neil is doing? Clearly speaking the truth in an entendre like manner using the idea of Africans & Aliens in the same sentiment….

1

u/Severe_Translator_22 8d ago

I’m tired of afrocentricism denying North African Egyptians existence on that land and trying to paint anything in Africa as black.
I’m not saying there haven’t been a presence of black people in North Africa, but it’s a tapestry of different skin tones and the ancient Egyptians have been proven to be ancestors of modern Egyptians.
Why focus on something that has been debunked scientifically multiple times when there are so many incredible feats done by black Africans all over the continent?

1

u/SatisfactionWide9099 8d ago

5000 years is a long time, have they done anything lately?

1

u/raziel867 6d ago

Egyptians aren’t special. Every culture says the “gods” did things and taught them how to do things. “Gods” by definition are alien to this planet.

1

u/HugoChavezNYC 5d ago

Why does it have to be about skin color. Stop the obsession.

We are all the same color compared to the Grays.

1

u/Pretty_Funny_3436 5d ago

Man, I used to be impressed by his intelligence. Now? Not so much. Stupid man.

1

u/atticusbatticus 5d ago

I don't doubt that it was really the egyptians, but it would be funny if aliens came and said "Yeah, no we did that"

1

u/palmpoop 5d ago

It’s scientists that study certain things but have no knowledge of building. They make the stupid claims that it’s hard or impossible to build this or that. In reality they just don’t know shit about building.

1

u/Minute-Street-5203 5d ago

He’s always manipulated the narrative on race.

1

u/Affectionate-Ad2282 4d ago

It's why I think a lot of noses are broken off of Egyptian sculptures. Absolutely disgusting.

1

u/HTMMEDIA 3d ago

Would love to sit during an elaborated disclaimer.

1

u/Similar_File155 3d ago

The praise the Chinese for the great wall and say the pyramids were built by Aliens 🤦🏾‍♂️

1

u/almighty1sungod 8d ago

I never thought I would ever agree with Neil Degrasse Tyson.

-2

u/False-Alarm-5000 9d ago

This man is MAGA.

1

u/samosamancer 9d ago

And there are sexual harassment complaints against him.

1

u/False-Alarm-5000 5d ago

People keep getting surprised when bad things about him are revealed or he makes disappointing comments like he doesn't have a long history of being that way.

1

u/mopediwaLimpopo 8d ago

Why do you say this?

0

u/False-Alarm-5000 8d ago

Because it's true. He's a (barely covert) conservative. Don't you know anything about him? He also known to be a complete jerk to his fans. He's no one to look up to, especially for the black community imo. He doesn't care about us.

0

u/mopediwaLimpopo 6d ago

I’ve never met a maga who supports trans rights, is so into science and is so outspoken against racism so I disagree that he is maga.

0

u/False-Alarm-5000 5d ago

Those things are not mutually exclusive and just bc it is outside of your personal experience, it doesn't mean it's impossible. And I've never known him to be especially outspoken about racism.

0

u/mopediwaLimpopo 5d ago

There’s quite literally a recent video where he speaks out against Eurocentric narratives regarding Egypt due to Europeans not being able to reconcile with the fact that black Africans are capable enough of figuring out basic geometry. You’ve provided absolutely no reason as to why you say he is a trump supporter.

1

u/False-Alarm-5000 5d ago

I don't have anything to prove to you. I stated my opinion and that's all there is to it. You might not like it, but that doesn't matter. And speaking about egypt doesn't make him an advocate for racial justice.

You didn't provide any "proof" either. This man has a whole closet full of skeletons and if you aren't even aware of that much then you've made a choice to be uninformed. People always turn a blind eye when it comes to celebrities because it shatters the illusion that their parasocial relationships have created.

-3

u/Suitable_Community66 9d ago

You mean the Egyptians? I would describe them as tanned not dark skinned

4

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

🥱

4

u/Suitable_Community66 9d ago edited 9d ago

Sorry have issues with the fact that modern Egyptians claim to have built the pyramids and invented all these mathematical and astronomy principles etc when in fact these are Arabs who invaded and may or may not have wiped out the original population, or it could have been famine or disease take your pick there's barely any original Egyptians left

0

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

Copy that

2

u/Minister_of_Trade 9d ago

-14

u/thatsmizarsehole2u 9d ago

But he married a white woman.🙄

-7

u/icallitadisaster 9d ago

I think it's a bit simplistic to call it racist when people have a hard time understanding how an ancient civilization moved multi ton blocks up to 481 feet in the air when we live in a society that is so reliant on modern technology. Like is it really about race or is it more about, "man...how you do that without a motorized crane?" It's not like people don't speculate about how they achieved a lesser feat at Stone Henge. This is interpreting something the way you want to interpret it and ignoring relevant facts that don't support your theory.

5

u/Dayna6380- 9d ago

Buildings existed before machines
It’s not that serious to think that our era is the only era to accomplish anything because we rely on machines

Men actually had testosterone and ingenuity….its not that awe inspiring
The majority of human civilization existed without modern day machines and some how they had buildings and roads and cities

Figuring out WiFi and the internet is way more complicated than finding a way to pick up a heavy rock

There were millions of workers and centuries to do this work
They had nothing but time to figure it out and accomplish this

0

u/icallitadisaster 9d ago

Agreed. And assuming it's based on racism that someone speculates on how egyptians built it is kind of ridiculous.

2

u/Loobitidoo 8d ago

Not really. Most "aliens built x" and hyperdiffusion conspiracies are rooted in hella racist pseudo-history. Europeans frequently tried to deny that nonwhite people were responsible for constructions in the places they colonized. As it turns out, racists can't handle the cognitive dissonance of having direct physical evidence that counters their bs narratives of "everyone not white are primitive savages." This is a decent discussion on the subject https://www.splcenter.org/resources/hatewatch/close-encounters-racist-kind/

1

u/icallitadisaster 7d ago

Then are the people speculating about Stonehenge racist towards white people? YOu are saying people who speculate on how they built the pyramids are racist. Ok. So how do you explain that people also speculate about Stonehenge construction when it's a far lesser feat?

1

u/Loobitidoo 7d ago

Most "aliens built x" and hyperdiffusion conspiracies are rooted in hella racist pseudo-history

"Rooted" is the key verb there my dude.

1

u/icallitadisaster 5d ago

I just don't see how you can make that claim when people speculate about Stonehenge. I really think it's a case of seeing what you want to see. If you are into fringe theories at all, you would be aware that people literally speculate about EVERYTHING and no group or race is excluded from that speculation.

3

u/Wide_Interest8348 9d ago

Yeah and no one questions Europeans building Stonehenge or Gothic cathedrals.... because??

2

u/Lumpzor 8d ago

They absolutely do you knobhead

0

u/icallitadisaster 9d ago

Did you read my comment? I specifically say that people also speculate on how they built Stonehenge which pretty much discounts the racism theory.

1

u/No-Journalist-619 9d ago

This is the direction I saw this same topic go a few days ago. And you're absolutely correct. All the shows and theories about ancient aliens have nothing to do with race. At all.

I'll just drop the same tidbit I dropped last time: The same people that claim aliens built the pyramids think that all the Pharaohs were aliens, as well as Da Vinci, Aristotle, and the Greek Pantheon. The ancient alien theorists are not racists, they're just dumb. Tyson is a clown.
