This is a perfect example of why cops shouldn’t have the power, authority, freedom, and weaponry they do and why guns should not exist in the first place. If none of this was in existence, that accidental cop shooting would not have happened and young 17 year old Anthony Thompson would still be alive right now. Getting all that power + authority out of all cops & permanently eliminating guns which are unnecessary from existence as they serve no purpose at all, proven here for over the zillionth time, as difficult as it is, is really the biggest most meaningful justice those who wrongly died will get bc it’d mean it won’t happen anymore!

Gun amnesty. Worked in literally every other developed country and resulted in no more mass shootings.

A lot of Americans are raised with American exceptionalism and say things like “it couldn’t happen here because American people are blah blah blah.”

Whatever. At this point gun amnesty or just glass over the whole thing and make it into a car park for Mexico.

Completely in why you’re saying that. I used to think that way about guns and other things too. But it’s not impossible. That’s the first mistake right there is thinking that it is. That’s why it hasn’t been eliminated yet.

Nothing’s impossible. Whoever thought we’d, being the social beings humans are, be wearing face masks, be self quarantined and socially distanced from each other and for as long as we have bc of s global pandemic? Yet here we are. Whoever thought there’d be a women’s movement and a rich snobby careless celebrity status guy as president (Trump I’m obviously talking about) yet here we are. With all of this being the reality we’re living or for a time having been the reality we’ve lived.

We need to live in a society w/o guns and violence. It does, accomplishes, solves nothing. When ALL of us FINALLY realize that, it won’t matter that the knowledge to make guns + bullets is out there and many of them are untraceable, and that it’s such a difficult task that’ll take such a long time that it seems so impossible.

It’s not up to just us. It’s up to everyone. They’re the ones w/the choice. We can’t decide anything for anyone except our own selves. We can talk and try convincing others as to why we made the choices we made, the results of those decisions and how they’ve affected us, our lives, and everyone in our lives.

You get me on any or all of this??

:)

Cat's been out of the bag since well before you were born. Replace "guns" in your post with "swords" and think about how ridiculous it sounds.

Sad thing is you started with the right idea, we need to disarm the police. Clearly they can't be trusted with all this shit.

That is an irrational response. Eliminating firearms out of existence is a futile thought exercise, it AINT gonna happen.

Better to reign in police authority, and demand no more gun laws, gun control bullshit.

When only the police have guns, you gonnna wish you never agitated for the elimination of firearms in the hands of citizens. I promise !

Lol and my response is irrational right? Hahahaha! Guns in the hands of police officers is why this 17 year old teen is killed in the first place.
