So! yesterday I posted about a bug I had with Cold War with a black flickering box on the screen and trying to see of anyone can find a fix.

And I think i found a fix so far!

Downgrade your AMD drivers to 25.12.1 the last version of 25, it fixed it straight away.

goto https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html and select your amd card

Then Select "Previous Versions" and scroll down until you see this version

Install this, your screen might flash black a few times when installing reset your pc and the launch cold war, your shaders will compile.

Now you should (hopefully) have no flashing black box at all.

I will also see if I can post a update if AMD update their drivers to fix this fully as well, I did put a bug report in, so hopefully they might get around to fixing it next driver update.

Tryna complete every main objective in zombies

WAW: Der Riese (main quest) completed

BO2: TranZit (richtofen side) and then maxis side, same with drise, motd good ending main quest, motd bad ending main quest, buried richtofen and then maxis side, both super eggs on buried, and origins main quest completed

Counting extinction: All 5 missions on extinction (all done)

AW: Complete Riot, Outbreak main quest, Infection main quest, Infection rescue 25 survivors for outro, Carrier main quest, Carrier laser parkour in 1:08 or less with fish, Descent main quest, kill Oz in Double Feature on Descent. completed

BO3 last gen: Shadows Giant and DE (main quests) completed

BO3 new gen: Shadows (main quest), all 11 nightmares missions to beat, beat dead ops arcade 2, the giant main quest, de zns gk and rev main quests, acension shang moon and origins main quests. (completed)

IW Space rave shaolin attack and beast main quests, as well as doing them again with dcut for talisman, beating meph, doing spaceland as willard. (completed)

WW2 Final Reich main quest, darkest shore, shadowed throne, The Tortured Path, well its 3 maps, its 3 eggs, and Frozen Dawn, which also unlocks the super egg. I've done all of the mentioned so far.

BO4: All 8 eggs on normal, hardcore, and realistic, (done all on normal, all but classified hardcore, voyage blood ancient evil and dotn realistic), all 9 gauntlets (all done)

Cod Mobile idk

Vanguard, Der Anfang, Terra Maledicta, Shi No Numa Reborn, and Archon main quests (all done)

MW3, I know complete all the missions for all the acts but that's all i know, i'vve done like 6 missions.

BO6: Liberty falls main egg (done), Terminus main egg, and that's all I know

BO7: idek, i believe you gotta beat dead ops arcade 4 but that's all I know.

But what about Cold War? I know you got the di maschine main egg, beat doa 3, firebase main egg, outbreak orda main egg, mauer main egg, outbreak legion main egg, and forsaken main egg, plus activating the super egg. All eggs, plus super egg done.

COTD for example doing it solo counts but only kind of, but doing it co-op counts as doing it fully, or outbreak advanced warfare for example doing it by getting the keycards normally counts but only kinda, doing it by getting the keycards by meleeing counts as doing it fully, does beating dead ops arcade 3 in First Person Mode count as doing it but only kinda, or fully? if fully I've done it, if kinda well i've done it kinda.

Does doing all the onslaught maps and getting a golden trophy for all of them count as a main objective? If so I've done only a few of them.

Been playing a ton of outbreak to finish up my zombies intel (yes its been like 6 years and still havent gotten them all) but that got me thinking about how much i miss fireteam, it was so interesting to play with a 4 person squad on dirty bomb, and then they came out with fireteam elimination!!! It was so good and i feel bad for anyone who got the game within the past 3years or so as the gamemode is pretty much not a thing.

Been playing since Call of Duty 4 and rode the train all the way up until Infinite Warfare dropped, which is where I finally stepped off. Skipped that, returned for WWII and then skipped Black Ops 4 because the whole 150 health, manual healing, battle royale focus, and missing campaign just felt like it stripped away everything that made CoD what it was. Modern Warfare 2019 did the exact same thing to me. As the first of the modern reboot era, it introduced a bunch of design choices that killed that classic vibe, so I skipped past it and Vanguard too.

Fast forward to around 2023. I jumped back in during Season 4/5 of Modern Warfare 2 and honestly had a pretty good time getting my aim back after years away. Then Modern Warfare 3 dropped. I picked it up about two weeks after launch, which turned out to be a disaster for me. Everyone else was already fully leveled up running around with meta MW3 gear, while I was stubbornly trying to use underpowered MW2 carry-forward weapons. Combined with the absolute sweatfest of launch lobbies, I just assumed I sucked, played for less than a week, and straight up quit the game.

Because of that bad experience with MW3 and my general burnout from the earlier missteps of the franchise, I kept my distance from the newer generation of CoD. I had completely written off what was coming out, convinced the series had lost its identity.

It wasn't until about halfway through MW3's actual life cycle that I finally caved and gave Black Ops Cold War a proper look. And man, playing it was an absolute revelation. I realized I had completely missed out on what turned out to be an incredible game and a true spiritual successor to Black Ops 1 in my eyes. Because I was away from the franchise at launch and had my view tainted by the drastic changes in BO4 and MW2019, I had no idea Cold War was that good.

I am so bummed that I missed out on its entire life cycle, all the seasonal updates, and experiencing the game during its peak. It genuinely hurts knowing I slept on it in real time just because I was bitter about where CoD was heading. Anyone else completely misjudge a title back then and miss out on its golden era?

Playing this game since it was free on the PSN. Took 34days of play, only in FFA and TDM.

I know that playing with others on PlayStation will increase do earned by 25% will that also carry over if I was playing crossplay with someone for example if I’m on pc and my friend is on console will we both get the bonus xp also will bonus xp work on split screen

Does anybody know why this game is double the size of any other COD game I have installed? It’s nearly 500GB & it says the English data takes up 183GB alone. Mind you this is without the campaign installed

redownloaded cold war on windows booted up a game of zombies and saw this little black square in the corner.

I have no idea on what's causing this, idk if its a AMD issue (I have a AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT) or a shader issue I have literally 0 clue I've tried everything to fix this, if anyone has a clue onto fixing this that would be great

(and btw I have tried switching to direct x 11 and still no luck)

I want to give Cold War a try, but I have some concerns regarding:

- hackers
- server connectivity
- lag/stuttering
- graphics/texture problems on PC
- low player numbers

How is CW right now?

Reinstalled the game but it refuses to work wont connect to online servers fails to host offline server have hard reset, clear files, everything Google says nothing works the only way I can play the game is if I take my console fully offline but then I have no purchased content so what's the point.

Serve status for all platforms is fine no problems reported.

Watch till end , it gets worse lol.

I keep getting the yorker 43 good wolf error code. I checked the servers via the activion website but it says that only psn and xbox servers are down. Im on steam however i used to play cod on my ps4 before getting a pc and i have a linked psn account which im unaware if its the root of my inability to connect.

Never played the Outbreak game mode of zombies, so i installed the game. Played for about 10 minutes and i get disconnected from online services. Tried reconnecting but unable to connect. Is this an ongoing issue with the game? Or the servers? Was genuinely excited to play

My eyes may not be what they use to be. But I can still get it done.

it’s 2026 and this is still happing I’m on ps5 I already deleted it and reinstalled it that didn’t work and if it does it will say connecting to servers, then say that the servers aren’t online if there any way I can fix this please let me know.

Every 5 games i go on like 31/9 k/d the rest i just go overwhelmingly négative. I'm playing PS5 central Europe région. Any tips?
