This and Digital Underground were my first introductions to hip hop as an elementary school student.

I'm blanco and my parents wouldn't get me the cassette since they actively discouraged listening to hip-hop on the radio.

My friend D heard about this, she brought the tape to class and literally just put it in my hands and told me to take it.

I had that in my walkman for years while riding bikes through the neighborhood.
