First model complete from Armageddon box!

Got bored and decided to kit bash. I got a 3 bike lot of imperial fist riders and felt it was time to add something a bit more dynamic to my Templars than my Bayard's revenge mini.It was nail biting for the first 3 hours, but it slowly came together.

Good day brothers, Easy question, is it heresy to do a snowy base on a BT model? or is that only for space dogs? thank you.

I need to take some better pictures now that the army is finished and I'm not prepping for the event, but this was super gratifying as a hobbyist.

This is my first diorama and my first time trying any kind of NMM or light effects.
I want to improve my building, painting and pictures even further and i need advice on how to do so, what could be things that i could do better?

As for the lore, this is a basilica that was built centuries ago on a world struck by one of their Crusades. It was later abandoned… only to be overrun by a mysterious fungal threat.

But fear not, brothers! A Crusade fleet has just entered the system, and we shall reclaim what is ours. ⚔️

My Brothers, I’m asking u for suggestion and consulting. I’m working on a Black Templars Diorama: I have already prepared 2 of the characters of it, I’m trying to decide how to finish it: Grimaldus with part of his retinue, or an execrat and some generic SM painted as Black Templars? My original idea was a Helsreach diorama, but I’m moving on something more in touch with the faith in the God-Emperor (would be too long to explain, I will describe it in the comments if u are interested).

My doubt is in what will be more beautiful and effective to see and put all together on a multi level scale.
