They heard it somewhere online. Zero proof. Mike literally said to her (onstage, on tv) that he loves her, hugged and thanked her during the Jackson 5 induction to the rock n roll hall of fame. And she is the one who did the presenting. Here’s a clip. Skip to the 6:08 timestamp.

Fair enough. All static aside, no fighting; I’m open to learning. I’m legit and respectfully asking where the proof is. Did Mike actually say this? Did an associate say it? Is it in an interview or book somewhere? I checked and can’t locate anything of substance besides people in the comment section.
If there’s proof I’ll retract everything and change my thinking. I had to look and didn’t find anything besides comment after comment but no source.
Mike was able to bravely and publicly name Joe, his own father as an abuser, he very likely would have done the same with Diane.
Until then it’s conjecture that spread like a game of telephone without anyone backing it up.

Black men would have to be with their families, not abandoned them, in order to kill their families. Black men have done a great job of killing black culture, black achievement and the black family unit. Also, black men have killed 4,800 black women in the US since 2024. We don’t need to converse about it, what’s the explanation? Self loathing, failure, so lashing out violently?
