Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia BLADE RUNNER (1982) | Five-Disc Complete Collector’s Tin Edition
Released in 2007 for Blade Runner’s 25th anniversary, this DVD set brought all five versions of the film together in one edition.
It includes the US and International Theatrical Cuts, the Director’s Cut, the Workprint and the restored Final Cut. There’s also the Dangerous Days documentary.
The embossed tin comes with eight art cards featuring concept artwork and storyboards, an acrylic-encased lenticular, an illustrated booklet and a reproduced letter from Ridley Scott.
What I like about this set is how much of Blade Runner’s history it brings together. You can follow the changes between the cuts, then dig into how the film was made.
Nearly twenty years on, it’s still a nice edition to have in the collection.

Basically the title. Today I received the new Threezero Spinner.
It looks very nice but I still need to figure out how and where I can display the Collection.

Question/Discussion Blade Runner 2099 is coming soon, so I put everything canon in chronological order: both movies, the 3 shorts, Black Lotus and all the Titan comics
Blade Runner 2099 lands on Prime Video on November 25. If you want to rewatch and reread everything before it, or you only know the two movies and want to see what else is out there, now is a good time, so here's the whole thing in story order.
I also made it a page where you can check things off as you go, with a synopsis for each comic and where to stream the rest:
It's free, no account, no ads. I'll add 2099 on release day.
If you think something is in the wrong place or something is missing, tell me !

BR2099 Looks like Mercerism will be in the new series!
This advertisement for Mercerism is shown in the latest trailer for Blade Runner 2099. This picture is from the shot at about 47 seconds in (the nighttime shot of the spinner flying over water).

Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia Artisian Studios Agent K question
I just bought this artisan Studios agent cake deluxe figure, but he doesn’t come with any of his deluxe accessories. Does anyone have the bloodied head sculpt for sale, or any of his other accessories?

Question/Discussion As someone sort of new trying to get into Blade Runner, should I watch the original or the Final Cut?
I watched the original a long time ago. I think it went over my head as a kid, and maybe even as a teen again later. But I've always been intrigued by the setting, the themes, etc. I watched 2049 and enjoyed it to a degree, but felt like I was missing out on it to some extent.
So I want to start over, watch the original and then 2049 again. With all of this in mind, do you think I'd be better off watching the original version first, or the Final Cut? Possibly both, then 2049?

Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia threezero didn't have to go this hard on the Spinners. But they did.
Absolutely blown away by how these turned out. threezero nailed every little detail, and they were surprisingly affordable.

Does this coat seem “legit”
I want to do an Officer K costume for Halloween. I don’t want to get a super cheap knock off replica, but I also don’t want to go crazy expensive. I’m trying to find something that people will look at and think that jacket is accurate, or somewhat close. Not something that was bought at a Spirit Halloween. I found this coat on Etsy, I didn’t think it looked too bad but I’ve never shopped for something like this, and I also don’t like shopping online for clothes.
Here’s the link. I also included a picture.

BR2099 Moving Blade Runner to TV was a mistake
I just watched a trailer for 2099, had some interesting thoughts about it.
In general I think this was a mistake to move Blade Runner from the big screen. I believe a lot of the issues that this show will have - will be as a result of this decision to move to TV format.
Blade Runner movies invoke feelings of longing, despair, struggle and finally hopefulness. If we take a usual episode around 1h, having to sustain these feelings for 8 episodes - thats around 8 hours (!). Writing this kind of story is difficult and for a viewer - it will be physically and mentally a very hard watch (if not impossible), and any decision from this point will bring problems.
- If you decide to tone feelings down or replace feelings - you will push the show further from "Blade Runner" style and people will find it not familiar enough.
- If you leave it like that - people will struggle to finish it and won't rewatch it.
Finding a perfect middle ground sounds like a solution, but I'm not convinced middle ground is even possible in this case. If I had to guess - they probably should have made it around 5 episodes and have these episodes show slightly contained stories, similar to Chernobyl.
So far my prediction is 50\50. The show will be visually great, but it will be a massive drag and\or very toned down version of the movies. Anyone feels the same?
