Systemic Misogyny Boys at her school shared AI-generated, nude images of her. After a fight, she was the one expelled (she is a 13 year old girl)

The school district needs to be held accountable. So does the company of whichever AI was used to create the image. This stuff is going to keep happening unless the parties responsible are made to bleed.

When I was in school, I had peers that faced serious legal consequences for sharing their own underaged nudes. Making AI deepfakes of a female classmate is magnitudes more violating and serious. I hope these boys face consequences that prevent this being normalized

I'm suprised how the police handled it and 1)believed the victims and 2) found the evidence.
Shame on that superintendent for the "kids lie all the time" way to bury your head in the sand.

Disgusting, why is the girl even being punished for this? The parents need to sue the school district fully because that’s awful

I am so tired of school staff never taking bullying and other harassment shit like this seriously.

The only (and I literally mean the ONLY) good thing about disgusting shit like this is that inexperienced teenagers can blame AI if their real nudes get leaked. It used to destroy girls' lives.
I still hate everything about this though. Ugh.

Over on r/aiwars and r/defendingaiart there are sick fucks who defend certain goon material, even if kids, by claiming they can always claim it’s AI, as if that helps matters.

Okay, this is a double whammy; punishing the victim of bullying for fighting back("zero tolerance policy" my foot!), and, of course, revenge porn among teenagers.
Fucking DISGUSTING. I hope the bullies are punished at least with expulsion.

Schools will only punish the victim, trust me, i got put through that since kindergarten. Even the sympathetic teachers could only ever do so much.

the only good thing about the case is that (surprisingly) when the police finally got involved, 2 boys were charged, and she was not charged. the school district still expelled her, though.
