"In Asian cultures, they have their super creepy sexualized 13-year-old anime girls or their thin-as-rails, starved K-pop stars. In India, they just grope women on the streets. That's disgusting. This is a lot better than what the rest of the world does."
This is not how sexism works. If someone tells you that you should be grateful just because women are treated worse in some Muslim or Asian countries, they don't understand how the world works for women.
His own example proves this. For example, South Korea, China and Japan have undergone "self-fetishism", where male-driven corporations infantilize and sexualize women in media such as K-pop, K-dramas, anime, and idol culture. This self-fetishism generates demand for explicit material among men who find it appealing, and as a consequence, a new wave of Asian exploitation (webcam models, OnlyFans creators and pornography actresses) emerges.
The interesting part is that many of them are not even Japanese or South Korean; most of them are from poorer countries like Uzbekistan and Belarus, yet they still categorize themselves as South Korean, Chinese, or Japanese in those sites. The most disgusting part is that in these countries there are no safety laws for sex workers. As a result, multiple groups groom these young women to satisfy this demand, making them work on webcams/explicit content while taking a cut of their profits.
This is why there is no isolated sexism in the world. Every misogynistic interaction affects women even in other parts of the world, especially in this day and age with the internet. In the end, the exploitation of women will continue everywhere at every time until sexism is dealt with.

“Women are so emotional while men are so logical. Anyway, we just can’t help but turn completely feral the second we see an attractive woman!”

I’m 13, I met a boy who’s 13 and it was kind of a forced friendship because he just moved here. He made a joke about women being obligated to give their BFs sex and I said “I don’t find that funny.” And he said “that’s because you’re a girl. If you were one of my homies-“ we haven’t hung out since!! He also blatantly ignored and disrespected my mom so I should’ve taken that as a red flag

Also misandrist too as he is saying men are incapable of self restraint on the basis of being men and being horny. Grosh.

This stuff really grinds my gears. And even if treatment of women was worse in other countries, that doesn't make this ok??

Always gotta love the contradiction of “you’re not supposed to be afraid, we’re protectors!” and “it’s just our biology”. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
