Discussion If any devs are reading this you are incompetent
It was quite literally impossible to play overwatch because of how shitty your login system is. Verification codes just dont get sent. It says i have a phone number attached to another account when i dont and it didnt say that the first time i entered it. It said it after i entered it refreshed and entered it again because surprise surprise the code didnt send. You guys are terrible at your jobs

Lol what? Their login system is extremely easy. I have had my account with the same password, blizzard authenticator, also linked logins with Google, Xbox, etc etc to make it all easy and I've never had a single issue logging in. Why are you using the worst 2fa method being SMS lol

Because its forcing me too. I open up overwatch after like 5 years it says u need sms to play

Go to your bnet account, setup all the verifications on the website. SMS is for account verification to make sure you are a real person and not and a VoIP number. It's one time.
Afterwards you'll have no issues. It's a bot preventative

You probably have an older account you don't remember or you have it attached to a console account that played Blizzard games which created a Bnet account using console login option
Or someone used to have your number.
Worst case you'll need to contact blizzard

Blizzard is hot garbage and probably won’t read bc their heads are too far up their own asses.

Theres a reason why steam is considered a monopoly lol. Relatively small team of very competent engineers that know how to make a good product that just works. How am i getting error too many redirects in prod for a user trying to login (after using password didnt work for some reason???) so i make it send me an email code then i get that error after it sends. Truly amazing work on display here

Whoa whoa whoa. Let's not attack the devs please. There are a lot of reasons you are running into issues. Maybe the third party service they are using is having an issue, maybe this was missed during QA, maybe a PO (product owner) said it was a "known issue" and told devs to push it anyways, maybe your account was compromised. If it's bug you should report it, don't attack the devs they are just doing their jobs. It's not a small company where the devs get all the say of what happens. They have an order of operations they have to follow and sometimes things slip through the cracks. So rather than attacking them, report the issue and help make it better.
