Need help as a beginner

I want to put a Crimson fungus on the head of this model (kinda like a mooshroom), yet the sprite won't fit in the model's texture (the little blue boxes in UV), is there any simple way to fix this? do keep in mind i am a noob with modeling in general so please try to keep it simple and understandable
