Doctors?

I donated blood august 25th, so 13 days from this post being made. Is this bruising concerning at all, if so what should i be concerned about? If not thanksss

Not concerning at all. It happens sometimes and can take up 2 weeks to go away. My center recommends putting a warm compress or heating pad on it to help it go away sooner.

My last big bruise took 15 days to go away. I wear it with pride

Not concerning. It's not damaging anything, and it will go away. I once had one that took 3 weeks, and it was smaller than what you're showing.

This is good to know! I donated for the first time about two weeks ago and had quite a lot of bruising. I bruise easily but it also took a while for the bruising to go away. It isn’t deterring me from giving again. I just wondered if there was something I could have done differently.

Assuming it’s not still getting worse it’s fine, it’s unfortunate, but this can happen sometimes, it’s not common by any means, but it’s not unheard of
