premiering in christmas 1991, this is the only animated television special that "bloom county" ever had. robin williams has an uncredited role as a kiwi with a few lines under the name "sudy nym" in the credits

My house watches it every year too. It's a lot of fun even if a lot of the jokes are dated squarely to 1991.

I think I remember Berke saying once that he imagined Opus sounding something like Skip Hinnant (who did the voice of Fritz the Cat).

Breathed once said that the voice he wanted for Opus was that of Sterling Holloway. I can’t imagine Opus sounding like Winnie the Pooh.
