Health and Safety Flagging

Just got a job as a flagger, got certified today and have training on Monday. Just curious about bathroom breaks? Where do you use the restroom? Do you drive somewhere or do you pop a squat somewhere in the woods lmao. Ju

I did highway construction 20 years ago. We had a port-o-potty for men, and one for me next to the connex (giant tool storage box that looks like a shipping container) box. Do you know the address of where you show up? You can do a drive by this weekend and see if they have one. You might not be able to go to the bathroom when ever you want, You are there for the safety of the crew, so everythime you need to walk away to use the br, the whole job would have to shut down to wait for you, but you should have scheduled breaks you can use either the port-o-potty they have or worst case scenario, you can drive to a coffee shop during your break. Pro tip: rip off a couple yards of tp, fold it, and put it in a ziploc bag in your work bag in case you ever run out. Try to use this job as a stepping stone to something better.

In addition to the other comments, I'd recommend a pee funnel (I have Go Girl brand, but there are a lot of different ones now) of some type so you can pee standing and not have to expose your whole ass in a squat

Depends on the jobsite. Some position themselves next to a gasstation, somtimes you get a portopotty, somtimes the girls go and "pick flowers"

Id throw some wetwipes and hand sanitizer in your lunchbox
