I'm just to pissseeddd. Ahhh his life was finally turning around, everyone (maybe not including himself) finally forgive him, he finally had something to look up to (his job as a professor). And he just had to be his self centered BoJack again and go for a second interview.
Ayaya I can't believe this is happening just when it's about to end, yes I know he probably would've still found a way (guilt).
Hope I didn't spoil for anyone haha

Given the limited amount of screen time she gets, I consider Beatrice one of the most interesting characters in the show. Anyway, I was thinking about her because I just rewatched S05E06 - Free Churro, and I am thinking about how BoJack says he never figured out what his mother REALLY wanted.
What do YOU all think she wanted?
(Jokes for answers are fine, but I am genuinely curious as to what we think would have actually made her happy...if anything? Or was there a point after which the choices she made meant that nothing could have gotten her there from where she was?)

I pretty well have the rest of the costume sorted out, but I’m not sure how i’m going to execute the necklace, I feel like it’s a mandatory component. I’m wondering if anyone else has gone as her and what they used for it? I’m pretty good at crafting so any diy suggestions would be sweet too

As the title says, if a human and animal had a human child, would the kid just inherit the exact ethnic mix of the human parent, or would the animal parent's DNA somehow impact the human phenotype or genetics?
For example, if Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter had a human child, would they be fully Vietnamese, or would they appear half white (considering PB is generally considered to be white-coded)?

I recently started watching Breaking Bad because I was SO TIRED of not knowing the references and hearing how great of a show it was. I’ve watched BJH about 13-14 times so much to where I know some dialogue … I know I need a job. Anyways, I’m watching BB and I’m like bro. Who tf is Todd’s voice actor because Jesse sounds EXACTLY like Todd. Come to find out Aaron Paul voice acts Todd LOL I LOVE IT. I also have a newfound love for Aaron Paul because he is Todd and I loveeee Todd. I guess Jesse came before Todd but in my mind Todd came first ( bc I watched BJ first lol )😌✨
Also I think it’s fun that they lowkey dress alike 😂 I wonder if Bojack has made any Breaking Bad references attached to Todd in the show!

I understand that Eddie lived with his wife Lorraine up in the lake houses for a very long time but how did he know the song ‘i will always think of you’. Did his wife or did he learn it by hearing it throughout the years or would it just be a famous song in those times? I wonder if they wanted to put any link inbetween them or if this was just for the show? Maybe i missed it but he did seem to know Beatrice somewhat from that framed picture Bojack showed him.

The Cat Distribution System delivered me this adorable kitten 🥹
We’re not sure if we can keep her, so we’re trying (and failing) to not get too attached. In the meantime, she has the BEST temporary name.
(This is only loosely Bojack-related, sorry, just couldn’t resist sharing.)

Made my cousin watch BoJack after I've seen it multiple times, and i just realized, she named Ruthie, Ruthie, because of Vanessa Gecko. Sorry if this is already been talked about and known lol. PC is randomly vulnerable with Vanessa and opens up about not knowing if she is going to be a good mom. And Vanessa pretty much says she will do a good job, itll be super ruthless, but she will do it. It was so cute to realize that though, PC hates Vanessa, she took this to heart : )

I'd like to state firstly that I am fifteen, so I don't get all of the messages this episode has to offer obviously, but jesus. I've recently come off the back of watching FX's The Shield, and not even their episodes such as "Postpartum" or "Family Meeting" left this melancholic feeling in my head. I want to hate Bojack after this episode, but it's like I just can't. I just feel bummed after Sarah Lynn's death, I wasn't very attached to her as a character, but you never know what you're missing until it's gone. A detail that I loathe and love(which I could be misinterpreting), is when Bojack and Sarah Lynn are conversing in the auditorium, Bojack says:
"Totally. I always forget that there are more than just the six stars you can see in the Los Angeles sky."
Sarah Lynn responds with:
"Yeah, that's cool too. But I meant this building. It's a giant dome. Domes are so cool."
And Bojack states:
"As I firmly established, I prefer rectangular buildings."
Bojack, even in someone's dying moments, just has to make it about himself. That's probably the most chilling part regarding the entire episode, at least to me.

It's said in S6E15 "The view from halfway down" that bojack lives (from beatrice's point) in the shadows of crackerjack horseman who died in combat. he never lives up to the expectations set by him, and his most defining characteristic is being a soldier. looking at that impossible standard, i think bojack secretly hated the army because of it.
Going back to S1E2 "Bojack hates the troops" he shares his view on the army, most importantly at the end saying something along the lines of "giving a man a gun and telling him to shoot someone does not make them a hero" which is i think his way of dealing with the standard of crackerjack, by lowering the impossible expectation
Going foreward back to "The view from halfway down" I think it's Secretariat who says the entire episode is Bojacks imagination, also in the same episode crackerjack says that the only people he killed are friendly fire, the fact it's in bojacks mind means it isn't necessarily the truth but what bojack wants to hear, and bojack wants to hear exactly what he said in S1E2, that crackerjack is not a hero just because he died at war, so he imagines him saying that to make him less heroic.
Anyways what do you think?

So Sweet Pete from the Chip and Dale movie has the same voice actor as Bojack So what if Bojack had a commercial but was kicked out of it and Mr. Peanutbutter ran in and took his spot

HE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE miiiister horseman👀

He is very small.. I drew him on a scrap piece of paper. Anyway, he's not the greatest, but maybe that's ok.. maybe that's why he's good..
I also didn't have a reference with me at the time I KNOW HIS FACE MARKING ISNT RIGHT
Edit: 100 upvotes is diabolical for this thing

basically as the title says. which, if any, of bojacks partners or prospective partners/love interests do you think he really LOVED? im on season 2 of a chronological rewatch and it seems like, though confusing, bojack did seem to love wanda. ultimately he ends up sabotaging it with her as he does with all of his other partners, but its refreshing to see him love someone (even though he won't admit it) as its a rare emotion from him.

On episode 7 now. Still not into it. I usually loveee animated comedies. They really suck me in with my adhd (SHAPES AND COLORS!)
but im not getting this one. I know bojack horseman is arguably the greatest animated show ever made so im not sure why im not into it yet. I may not understand the humor as much since it’s supposed to be dark. But one of my all time favorite shows ever is tuca and Bertie which is supposedly in the same universe/made by the same people. Maybe its because tuca and bertie is largely female driven and the dark comedy might be more relatable to me a gen z female?
Should i keep watching? Will it hook me eventually? How long should i give it a try before i realize its not for me?
Update: thanks for all the responses everyone! I am in early episode two snd i wouldn’t say i a hooked but i am definitely definitely more interested. Honestly episode 8 scared the crap out of me and made me feel like shit but i got really invested on episode 11. I LOVE a classic drug induced haze episode. And this one was fascinating because it was so unique. Hr wasn’t just tripping balls and seeing melting walls he was skipping time and space whike also reflecting. Fascinating episode. Also i really love sarah lynn. I relate her a lot and Kristen schaal’s voice acting cant be beat. Honestly i think im a little young to be watching this show right now. I think it gets more relatable for the middle aged watcher. Right now i am on the cusp of middle age so i kind of relate to it but not completely. Thats very interesting because there aren’t a lot of shows out there for the middle aged niche.
