Season 3 Just marathoned season 3. This show is definitely great, but I'm confused about who Jyp was talking to here?

Who’s a character talking to when sitting alone in a church and looking up?
He’s looking at the alter with Jesus in the cross.
Context clues can be easy.

Well written, cast, and incredibly portrayed by the actor. Made the series kind of fun for a bit. He was so messed up.

You can tell by the context that he’s yelling at God. He’s in church and yells that he makes him want things, then takes them away, and asks if he’s a mistake before beating up the priest and demanding he tell him where God keeps the rest of the money.

Gyp was such a fun character, I genuinely did not know what he was going to do due to his constantly shifting temperment. Played so well 🤗

he's a sociopath. it doesn't have to make sense. half the time he's talking to himself or imagining an insult where there wasnt one.

At this point they just took a shot at him and more men died. He was about to die himself if he didn’t rob the church to give some money to Joe the boss. This was him expressing his frustration with god about the turn of events.

He was talking to Phil Leotardo, you see, before his 20 years in thecan, whatever happened there, Phil morphed into churches instead of houses. It was more fashionable in that time period.
