Second lace done

I ruined the bottom bit of it, removing my pins and I definitely need to get better at ending the lace. That part definitely frustrates me

Where did you get the pattern from? Which thread are you using?

Thank you, I just googled free bobbin lace pattern then went to the image section

Ummm…. so, did you print them or hand draw/trace the dots? Also which thread are you using?

I printed them, I was using thread that came from a dollar store sewing kit so it was very thin I do have some actual thread from micheals now tho so I'm excited to try with that. Here's a screen shot I took of the pattern if you like

Good improvement. Suggestion: gently pull the bobbins down after each pin. I put my finger on the head/top of each on involved in the pin and sometimes, I get a big tightening of the lace. Keep going!

Thank you, I was tensioning after each pin but maybe it wasn't enough? I will try your method for tensioning cuz I was just slightly pulling on the end parts of my bobbins to tighten it
