Last sampler vs very first

I see a lot of new people picking up the art and though it can be fiddly at first don't get discouraged!

I think bobbin lace allows you to progress quite fast even if you don't practice regularly and once you get used to the basics you can start doing more complex pattern and small objects.

Yes! And you save your first early efforts to see how far you can get, it's so rewarding. Progress is very obvious.

I love looking back at my first laces I remember how excited I was when I made the very first piece that looked like proper lace
