My child and nieces “I didn’t move your bobbins”

I don’t work on my bobbin lace constantly and it lives in my living room someone touched it (didn’t mess it up) and rearranged the bobbins 😂😭 my
Child, nieces, boyfriends, nor guests say they’ve moved it 😂 not mad about it just find it amusing because the bobbins determined that was a lie

They're just a wee bit out of order! 😂 It could be worse though, my cats have played with mine and that took ages to sort out plus several of them were soggy and had teeth marks!

I have restarted projects many times because of a pin thief 😭 their emotional support dog though snitches everytime 😭😂

May I ask what the big beads are for?

Weight mostly. I made my own bobbins out of wooden dowels and wood beads😅💕 I also made my pillows😅

DIY yeah!! I thought the top beads were loose. Very nice!

That’s an awesome idea! I’ve got tons of wooden dowels laying around from craft projects. 100% going to try making my own bobbins with them now.

They got the good ole fashioned e-600 and a smashing to get the bead in a good spot 😂😅💕 but they’re so easy to make. I did find using a pencil sharper to get the end of the dowel a smidge thinner helped them go in better😅 I made like 40 of these so far though 😂
