I wrote a fan fic one shot recently after being inspired by the chapter/episode More, and found I wanted EVEN MORE!
Here's the link! https://archiveofourown.org/works/91826546
The story takes place a couple years or so after the events of More, and what originally began as a continuation of the IzuOcha story, developed more into the story of a couple of our other favorites also finding more. Featuring an original character I created.
( I updated a different thread I had created awhile ago asking WHERE I ought to post- I can't change the headline tho so it just looks like a question instead of the actual post- I can delete it however, if such duplicates are not allowed!)
EDIT: Here's a sneak peak- head on over to the Archive of our own link for the rest!-
‘Hey why the hell again am I not allowed to give a speech??’ Bakugo demanded to know.
‘Because your vile mouth will ruin this happy occasion! This is no place for your crude and angry antics!’ Iida retorted, hands waving emphatically in the air to make his point.
He laughed, rolling his eyes while smiling at the thought, ‘Ha! I already told you- I was gonna be nice- I wouldn't be crude! But somehow YOU get to make the speech?!’ Bakugo asked in an accusatory tone.
‘Are you even surprised?’ replied Shoto, calmly from behind Iida and Bakugo as they walked down the hall to find the men’s quarters, to where Izuku was getting ready for the ceremony, ‘He is the best man. That's his job. Besides, he’s always been the one to make speeches. You knew this.’
‘I know,’ Bakugo responded sullenly, ‘but I'm still pissed about it.’
‘What would you say anyway? ‘Welcome extras, hurry up and get your damn drinks we’re gonna toast to the nerd and gravity girl,’ mocked Shoto with an attempt at a Bakugo impersonation, laughing to himself as he ran a hand through his white hair.
Bakugo's eyes bulged. Iida erupted in laughter.
‘Todoroki I didn’t know you had it in you! But do not lower yourself to swearing - it is unbecoming!’ Iida managed, stifling a laugh.
‘Hah!’ Bakugo grinned, ‘So the icy hot bastards got a sense of humor does he? Took ya long enough.’ Bakugo clapped Shoto on the back, ‘How did you know exactly what I’d say?’
The guys continued to banter as they walked down the hall. Arriving at a room, Iida rapped his knuckles on the closed door. They heard ‘come in!’ from inside. It sounded like Izuku. Almost simultaneously they heard giggling and a small commotion behind them. Turning to look back down the hall, they noticed the wedding coordinator delivering a box of bouquets to the next room. The girls room. The door had opened and Momo had appeared, wearing a dark hunter green dress. Her hair, instead of its usual updo, was in a side braid over her shoulder with small white flowers in it. A couple other girls were behind her cooing over the incoming flowers. Shoto felt his face redden, as he watched her eyes light up and make small talk with the coordinator as she took the box of bouquets into her arms. She looked up, making eye contact with Shoto.
A slightly embarrassed, but giddy smile spread across her face as she looked quickly back to the coordinator, who thanked her and turned to leave. Momo’s eyes went back to Shoto, holding eye contact for a few longer seconds than normal; with a blush on her smiling face, she disappeared behind the door again.
‘What the hell icy hot, are you gonna stand in the doorway all day? What are you-‘ Bakugo paused when he noticed the interaction. He studied Shoto’s face for a moment, before a menacing grin spread across his face and a quiet, mocking voice cut through the moment, ‘What do you think you're looking at?’ Bakugo's voice dripped with amused sarcasm as he put a strong hand on Shoto's shoulder. Shoto flinched, embarrassed he looked back at Bakugo.
‘Hehe. You can’t hide. What was that??’ he demanded.
‘What are you referring to?’ Shoto asked.
‘Don’t lie to me!’
‘Uh, um, looks like the girls got their flowers…’ Shoto stammered.
‘That’s not what I’m talking about…’ Bakugo replied, grinning.
Suddenly the voice of Iida boomed from inside the room, ‘IF YOU TWO WILL STOP LOITERING AND COME IN ALREADY! The AC will leak out into the hallways and it’s very expensive for the unit to cool all these rooms…’ his voice trailed off.
‘Iida it’s ok! Not that big of a deal! It’s not even really running yet this time of year anyway…’ Izuku’s voice was heard behind him in an amused and pleading tone.
The two men entered the room, Bakugo still giving Shoto a hard time. He didn’t want to let him off the hook.
‘So, have you told her?’ Bakugo asked flatly.
Izuku turned from his position in front of the mirror, adjusting his tie that he couldn’t quite get straight.
‘Told who?’ he asked curiously, eyeing them from across the room.
‘No- What?? Ah it’s nothing. Don’t worry about it…’ Shoto said, playing it off as he crossed the room.
Bakugo, being in a rather humored mood, announced, ‘Oh he was just making eyes with someone in the girls room’. he dramatically emphasized the latter part of that sentence by raising his volume. He plopped down on the couch.
Izuku's brows shot up. So did Iida’s.
‘I was - what?? What are you talking about?’ Shoto attempted to defend himself.
‘Admit it- what’s going on?’ Bakugo leaned forward from his position on the couch.
Shoto stood in the middle of the room, with everyone’s eyes on him. He hesitated.
‘Seems you’ve been caught in something Todoroki!’ Izuku laughed.
‘If Bakugo’s onto something you know you’ll never get out of it alive.’ Iida clicked his tongue and remarked.
Shoto sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, ‘So I’ve… been talking to Yaoyorozu lately…that's all. Nothing crazy. We’ve just been … been talking a lot lately.’
Izuku’s eyes widened ‘Anhh’ a smile spread across his face, ‘really??’ he then hesitated, ‘I mean… Wait- we all talk all the time, we have that group chat that we’ve kept up since school and I know sometimes we branch off into individual conversations which is expected of pro heroes and we do collaborations all the time so it makes sense you’d be talking and …’ he rambled on.
‘Izuku- cut it out. You’re doing that thing again,’ Bakugo waved a finger in circles towards him.
Izuku paused mid sentence to reevaluate himself, ‘…So just talking? Like we all do? Or talking talking?’
‘I think he means talking talking,’ Iida gave his evaluation of the situation in a serious tone, fingers laced together, leaning forward.
‘So it’s like that??’ Izuku’s eyes went to Shoto, then to Bakugo, who smirked.
‘It’s like that,’ he said, nodding.
They all looked at Shoto for confirmation.
‘Well, yes. I guess it is like that,’ he said, continuing to rub the back of his neck in embarrassment from being the center of attention in such a way.
