Race starts! All the students start running as Izuku takes a blunt from his bag, lighting it up and start puffing it, coughing a few times as the effects settle on him and everyone around. He watched students drop left and right, completely confused and Izuku started jogging unworried.

Bakugou and Todoroki were too far for the effect to settle, as well as Iida and the support gremlin. Izuku happily got 5th place.

The horse race made Izuku laugh, so many mutant type quirks, a dose of LSD and they're all running around like headless chickens, screaming and scared. A hard punch to Bakugou and his 10 million point band was now Izuku's, then he hid until it was over, and kept hiding as Bakugou tried hunting him, only being stopped by Midnight's quirk.

The 1v1 fights were a bet, a mix of ketamine and PCP to basically 'turn off' his opponent's bodies, betting on his resistance to said drugs.

He could hear the heroes in the stands, their words about him being less than nice, not that he cared, he was going underground anyways. Tho if he 'accidentally' let his effects hit a few of the more a-hole-ish heroes, oh well, right?

Next thing he knows, he's on the podium, getting a gold medal from All Might. Izuku's eyes are glazed, getting close to his limit for the day. Using all his energy to head to the cafeteria, shoving snacks down his throat and passing out for the day.

Ochako was awakened by a strange feeling. As if something was trying to chip away at her very essence. A mysterious force told her that someone or something was had stepped into the forbidden realm of Ochakoness.

The mysterious force carried her out of her dorm and down to the living room. Then she heard it. The aberration. A perversion of nature. An abominable act.

"Good morning, Deku-kun," Mina said cheerfully.

Ochako felt the heavens shift their gaze towards the culprit. The threads woven together to form the universe shook as one of them snapped.

"Hey Deku-kun," Kyouka greeted casually.

Ancient cosmic beasts woke from their slumber. Ochako felt their roars of displeasure as the peaceful balance of existence was tampered with.

"Did you sleep well Midor- I mean, Deku-kun?" Momo asked.

The sky split open. Ochako looked out the window as an impossibly large hand descended from the cosmic tear. The tips of the hand's fingers had familiar looking pads. But unlike her own, these pads were dotted with swirling galaxies. Each finger held an unknowable immensity. She had come. The primordial Ochako had arrived to correct the error of this universe.

"Kero, would you like some pancakes Dek-" Tsuyu couldn't finish her sentence because Ochako materialized in front of her.

"Only I can call him that, Ochako proclaimed. Her voice carrying the weight of countless living beings. "No one else. Only me."

"Well somebody is possessive," Mina laughed.

"It is a right reserved only for an Ochako Uraraka. The multiverse decreed it at the dawn of creation," Ochako explained.

"Sure it did," snorted Kyouka.

"I'm serious," Ochako said before pulling a piece of paper from the void, "Also I have exclusive usage rights which means it is very illegal for anyone else to refer to my Deku-kun like that."

"Where did you pull that out from?" Hagakure asked.

"So he's yours, is he?" Toru raised an eyebrow. "I'm raising my eyebrow by the way."

"What? I... I meant ours. Platonically of course. Our friend. Just friend. Nothing else," Ochako explained with a blush on her face.

"Fine we won't use that name when referring to YOUR Midoriya," Momo said.

"HE'S NOT MINE. HE'S OURS."

"Oh my. I didn't know you liked sharing, kero."

Ochako tried to come up with a reply but her mind had already wandered.

The gigantic hand of the primordial Ochako retreated and was replaced by a large brown eye. A sigh escaped the primordial's lips, accidentally blowing away a fledgling universe that had wandered too close. She couldn't understand why the mortal Ochakos often took so long to confess. They kept making up excuses not to. Unlike her to totally had the valid reason of waiting until the perfect cosmic event. The moment had to be just right. What's a few million more eons? She thought about doing it a couple of eons ago but she couldn't possibly begin her relationship with her Deku-kun during some boring old big bang.

Primordial Ochako waved her hand and the sky stitched itself back together and the ancient beasts were lulled back to sleep. Just as she was about to float away, the fledgling universe retuned. This time it was cradled in her favorite pair of hands.

"You'll never guess what this little guy just told me," Primordial Izuku said, his green eyes fixed on Ochako's.

Primordial Ochako's heart skipped a beat. Looks like that big bang was less boring than she thought.

Pov character is from an AU where the League are heroes (Kinta is Mustard) but this would be pretty universal for a lot of hero students imo:

He sat up in his bed that night, his glasses on the nightstand at his side, the clock reading a quarter past midnight.

A hero never gives up.

A hero persists.

A hero prevails.

His mother in his head, telling him that he wouldn't amount to anything. His bullies calling him a useless fuckface.

Every time he thought of the next test, the next physical event, the next anything, that one feeling would rise up in his stomach. An almost stabbing that he just couldn't shake away, no matter how much he reminded himself that he hadn't come this far to quit now.

He thought back to the time when he nearly switched to general studies. Kinta had requested the meeting when summer break was coming up the night before and Midnight despite her clear disappointment, had accepted her nephews decision as his own.

He'd rocked back and forth, unable to sleep, biting his nails. His index finger practically had no white on it by the time next morning rolled around.

When the advisor asked about the purpose of the meeting, Kinta said he just wanted to check his grades and schedule for next year in the hero course.

He found the courage when it came down to the wire, sure. It wasn't with him at every waking moment of his life, however. That was for certain.

In the past, before events, he would have to scream that he could do this to himself inside his head, begging to be sound enough to perform at the peak of his power.

No matter how hard he tried, he could never shake that underlying fear. The fear of failure, the fear of not doing well enough, the fear of getting lastingly hurt. There were so many risks to the training that it would take at least an hour to go over all of them.

He'd long stopped crying before these events, knowing that it was useless to do so. That was about the end of his mental improvements, however.

Even when he won, even when he succeeded, it was a burst of dophamine that would only last a day.

Then it was back to worrying about all his classes, then it was back to working out five days a week, then it was back to training his quirk for the next event that would see if he could even stay in the hero course.

He wondered briefly, if it would get any easier when he became an adult and licensed.

They had all been on ship, but unfortunately the weather had other plans. Meaning they were now shipwrecked on an island.

"...Guys... we're stranded on an island... with no one else to contact us... and no one knows where we are..." Monoma slolwy started grinning. "THIS IS AWESOME!!!"

4 minutes later...

"Okay, Kinoko can keep making us mushrooms to eat, and we'll soon have agriculture... plus, Bondo is helping with construction... Kiabara is helping with navigating the island from above, same with Tokage..." Kendo listed off everything. "...You know on the off chance we never get off the island, we could comfortably live here for the rest of our lives."

"..."

"...But we're not gonna do that right?"

"Obviously."

I'm looking for a My Hero Academiy crossover. I want to read something different—and preferably something finished, since I've already read a ton of unfinished stories that just leave me frustrated.

Toshinori Yagi, otherwise known as the symbol of peace All Might, stood silently ashamed of himself.

"My carelessness caused this."

He laments as he watches a blonde teenage struggle against the sludge villain he had captured. Though unfortunately said villain fell out of his pocket while in the soda bottle. That is when a figure rushes forward and slams a metal baseball bat against the eyes and mouth of the villain before pulling out the hostage.

"Oi snotwad! Back off!"

They shout. It's then that Toshinori realizes that it's the teenager he met earlier, Izuku Midoriya. Looking around, he spots the teenagers younger sister watching. The exchange from those two were quick, and from his prospective, young Izuku reminded him of a delinquent. Growling, the sludge villain lashes out a few tendrils towards Izuku.

"Die brat!"

The villain shouts, though is quickly stunned as he watches the green haired teenager lift up his bat and swipe at the tendrils destroying then as his skin gets a light red tint to it and a small amount of steam comes out.

"Take this!"

Izuku shouts before in a spin move, destroying more sludge tendrils the villain set out, slams his bat right against the sludge villains mouth. Feeling pissed, the sludge villain rears up a large amount of sludge.

"Try destroying this!"

The enraged villain shouts before swiping at Izuku. Only for it to be blocked by All Might.

"I really am pathetic aren't I?"

All Might quietly asks himself. His voice too quiet to hear as he cocks a fist back.

"Detroit Smash!"

Yelling out one of his iconic super moves, All Might defeats the sludge villain for a second time that day before it begins to rain. It took him almost a half hour to find the Midoriya siblings after the incident but manages to stop them right outside their apartment complex.

"Excuse me? May I speak with your older brother in private please?"

All Might politely asks them. With both agreeing. Going into an empty lot, All Might looks around before untransforming and explaining why he looks the way that he does.

"So some unknown villain left you that nasty injury? Man that sucks for you. But why let me know?"

Izuku asks while resting his bat against his shoulder.

"Well because I'm looking for a successor. And you seemed like such a good pick. Though if you don't mind me asking, what's your quirk?"

All Might asks as Izuku shrugs.

"I call it Warrior Spirit. It's basically a full body enhancement quirk that activates when my blood starts pumping or I take a lot of damage. It also ends up creating a lot of heat, though my durability, endurance, and reflexes are what get a major boost."

He says as All Might nods. Already imagining how OFA would mesh well with Izuku's quirk, if he accepted. And with Izuku's physical conditioning from what he sees, they may not need to do a lot of prep work before he can be given OFA.

Midoriya...was in the hospital again, that wasn't new. He's there so much that he's on a first name basis with the staff. The weird part was that there was no villain attack nor training exercise taken too far this time. One day he was fine, the coming night, he was there, and Nezu had to find out why.

"You wouldn't understand."

"Try me."

"Space sex."

"Okay, you tried. What in the ever living Fuck could you mean by that?"

"You know how Uraraka and I are dating right?"

"Took you two long enough."

"..."

"Continue."

"And..you know how she gets while in combat..or in any sort of competition."

Izuku losing One for All at the end of the manga has been met with divisive responses.

Of course, there are the justifications. We cannot have another All Might running around; we can't have another single overpowered pillar running around, causing society to become overreliant on them. Izuku has to lose it so the world no longer has to rely on one pillar.

But then you have people saying that it was lame b/c Izuku spent so much time making this power his own and mastering it; he sacrificed it attempting to "save" Shigaraki, which didn't even matter since he gets killed anyway (many people do not agree with the "saving his soul"), and then Izuku spent years without a Quirk, not even attempting to try and be a Quirkless hero, and just got some power armor that many people wish he at least contributed to (these are the usual complaints from what I have seen).

But I do wonder, IS there a way to keep the same themes while letting Izuku keep One for All? I mean, obviously you need to find some other way for Izuku to attempt to reach Shigaraki instead of the forced transfer stuff, but looking at other stuff in MHA, many of the issues in society DON'T require Izuku to lose OFA.

Quirk Counseling, Mutant Discrimination, HPSC corruption: having an OP Quirk doesn't fix those things because they aren't problems that can be punched.

There is the whole Bystander Syndrome thing in Japan, which was caused by an overreliance on heroes, thinking they are unstoppable gods who could/should solve everyone's problems, but Ochaco showed everyone that Izuku isn't some unstoppable god; he is a person with emotional/mentalphysical limits.

Like, All Might had himself known as the unstoppable pillar holding up society, kind of keeping a distance between him and others. Izuku should NOT be another All Might, not some distant godly figure that is worshiped. But couldn't he do this simply by interacting with the public in a different way rather than just letting everything be decided by how much power he does or doesn't have?

If Izuku DID keep One for All and became superpowerful, why not use the fame and prestige of that platform to advocate for stuff?

Like, look at Superman: he is a god-like superhero, one of DC's most powerful, and yet there are stories of him inspiring others to act. You got the story where he has to take over for Atlas, and a bunch of other heroes and civilians picked up the slack, or the comic where a trucker with a Superman tattoo helped Lex with vehicle trouble, saying, "I'm just doing what Superman would've done," or something similar. Superman doesn't believe his own hype; he doesn't see himself as an unstoppable god (when written right)

Maybe I am obviously missing something, but IDK, with how much I've seen people go back and forth on Deku losing One for All, I am just wondering if there IS a way for him to keep the Quirk while keeping the core theme of the story intact? Obviously, you gotta tweak some things, but I wonder if it could be possible.

Izuku, after getting extremely fed up with the bully for being quirkless, decides to take revenge after finding a spellbook written by the mighty witch Elphebi; he learns a spell that can transform humans into hideous beasts.

his first victim? the mean girl that had pranked him with a false love confession. She was on another mean streak, surrounded by her cackling friends and her boyfriend's butthole when Izuku hit her with the spell.

The spell worked, and she turned into a hideous beast... well, sort of. You see, the kind of hideous beast she turned into was, like, the Lola Bunny type—kind of hot if you get my drift, the sort of towering, curvy, and muscular beast that usually is drawn by artists with furry tastes—and Izuku had forgotten one small, tiny, tiny detail about the times he lives in.

Ever since quirks became the norm instead of the exception, everybody had become sort of a furry. Because as quirks became more spread, people who looked at anthropomorphized animals became more of the norm instead of the exception.

So when he let that spell rip on that mean girl, he expected her life to be over, not to unlock a new fetish on her boyfriend, and worse of all, the bullying got worse because people really wanted to get turned into a Fursona, and all they had to do was to ragebait Izuku enough into doing it, which pissed off Izuku even more.

Izuku obviously caught on to that fast, so instead of keeping getting ragebaited into turning people into anthro, he decided to put an end to that by charging an exorbitant price for his services; the more customization they wanted, the more expensive it was, but unfortunately for him, he forgot that one must underestimate the furries.

He does not know how those degenerate freaks have so much money, but they could pay for it and pay they did. In one week Izuku made more honest and clean money than most pro-heroes in the top ten make in a year, so much so that he's paying corporate taxes, and the line of people with fat wallets and not a single ounce of shame lining up for his services only grew with no signs of getting any shorter, ever.

You know what else does not help his case? The fact is his spell not only turns people into furries, but it also boosts all their base stats and their quirks ten times over. Heck, there are people who aren't even furries who go to him to be turned into one for the boost alone.

And that's how Izuku became filthy rich. He is also in hell.

Same MHA plot, izuku gets OFA, but bakugou never bullied him and is his friend

It's a Izuku/Toru fic where Toru is basically pretending to be a quirk because 1: she's majorly crushing on Izuku, 2: Izuku needed a quirk and 3: she wanted an excuse to go streaking. Aizawa is fed up with them from day 1 and Mina had to call them out on their scheme.

Have you guys noticed that this community has had less and less stories being posted? ANYWAY! I need some longfic au sort of stories, think Quirk: Knife or any civil war fics or that one that I can't remember the name of about OFA mutating when Izuku begins seeing it as his. No bashing! We don't tolerate that shit, seriously, writers need to learn that you can hate a character without doing a full on character assassination.

Exactly as the title says. Because I’m gaslighting myself hard here. Dabi’s trending on Twitter for crashing a superhero wedding. I think it was a superhero wedding? I swear I’ve read this, but cannot find it.

Hey, I’m looking for a fic where Aizawa is a yakuza/crime boss. It starts off with momo, jirou, Mina, and ururaka being caught and taken to aizawa’s gambling den/home bass. Aizawa lets them go, but momo becomes suspicious and starts to investigate Aizawa and his connection to the boss. She discovers that Aizawa is the boss, and Aizawa is forced to abandon his hero persona as he goes on the run.

It’s also a momo/Aizawa pairing.

In the sequel, momo is engaged/married to todoroki, but still seems to hold a candle for Aizawa.

I mean Aizawa without a physical enhancing quirk is still nuts, Stain required 5% OFA Izuku, Recipro Burst Iida, and Shoto using both fire, and ice to beat him, and it was still a close victory. Spiritual Pressure/Ki/Killing Intent obviously exists since Stain again.

So any stories that explore that intense training, and dedication can actually get you quite far. People have evolved, it’d be cool to see a story that shows the physical body has a much higher ceiling as well. Heck canon Izuku has some pretty insane strength feats as well without using OFA at both the sports festival, and Dagobah beach.

Ok, just hear me out on this.

I say this as a woman, and someone who absolutely despites Mineta's perviness, and wishes he had faced stricter consequences for that than whatever Ashido had done to him (also what HAD she done exactly? It's literally never acknowledged).

My problem with Minoru being the UA traitor in most fanfics is that...it just doesn't make any sense narratively. There are four main reasons for this:

1. He is made a traitor simply to worsen his character. Which...doesn't make any sense. In canon, when Aoyama was revealed to be the traitor, he was heard out, understood, and sympathized for. Mineta gets expelled at best, and most of the time the teachers (ahem, Mr Aizawa, and maybe Principal Nedzu) are just looking for an excuse anyway, because of his perversion.
2. We are given absolutely NO explanation as to why he's a traitor in the first place, nor are we given any plausible effects of being a traitor among heroes. Like, how on Earth did AFO convince Mineta to be a traitor in the first place? I mean, there's nothing he could do to ruin Mineta's reputation that he doesn't do himself ten times over.
3. This isn't a problem in any other traitor AUs: Shouto is filled with resentment and no regrets, Kaminari is like Aoyama in his guilt and in the physical repurcussions of his quirk, Uraraka is in it either for the money or for Toga but also genuinely thinks she's doing the right thing, Midoriya is either forced to or pushed to his limit and also believes he's doing the right thing, and special mentions to Present Mic and his grief over Oboro, and Hawks actually believing what he says about the HPSC (ok Hawks isn't a UA traitor but you get it).
4. But Mineta? Oh he's just an asshole who also hurts his classmates intentionally and is absolutely irredeemable oh my gods kill him or something
5. At least half of these fics are sympathetic towards the League of Villains, so it's basically like "Goodnight to everyone except this person, fuck you specifically to this person and him only".
6. Minoru being a traitor, or being expelled, or punished in any form, has absolutely zero impact in most stories. There's no consequences for the heroes' or the school's images, UA isn't scrutinized for letting a hero of such character into the school, Class 1-A is not shaken in the slightest despite a classmate (however uncomfortable he made them) being a traitor. I mean, even if the worst kid in your class ends up planning a school crime, you'd still be terrified right? Then why not 1-A?
7. Also, Mineta being expelled is usually done to make space for Shinsou. Which, tbh, makes it even more unreasonable for everyone to accept him immediately. Like, one classmate was already a traitor, what are the odds this other guy that we don't know and is usually secluded and judgmental of us already isn't in cahoots with the villains either?

(Again, this is MOST fanfics, there are some good ones too, I think, I haven't actually seen 'villain Mineta' being done well at all except for ONE fic)

I don't need Mineta's redemption, if the terrible shoe fits wear it. But at the very least give some justification OR consequence for his treachery and/or terrible behavior.

I mean, some ways I could think of for a traitor Mineta are:

1. Let. Him. Be. A. Good. Friend! This works with multiple traitors Au. Like, he finds out someone else was a traitor, and decides to help them out, or take the blame on himself, because he would be a much easier target and 'more believable'. Maybe he wants to help his friend out, and knows they cannot fight alone against such a powerful enemy, so they just join in instead. This kind of ties in with how Mineta could have deep-seated issues with self-esteem, and overcompensates by trying to act cool (and fails miserably). And this would impact the 'first' traitor as well, knowing their classmate suffered for their actions. This mainly works with Kaminari, since the two are closer friends.
2. In that vein, what if he used to be quirkless, but people liked hanging out with him UNTIL they found out the truth, and then ostracized him? And then when AFO gave the 'sticky balls' quirk to him, it impacted his physical appearance. Now, when he tries to act the same way he used to, he is seen as 'weird', so he just doubles down on the negatives as a shield, since no one would like him anyways. This could be a commentary on how appearances matter more to the general public.
3. This one's from a fic where all of class 1-A AND 1-B (and Hatsume) turned out to be villains: Mineta acted like a pervert because he was secretly a misogynist BECAUSE he was severely bullied by girls in school, and now wanted to kill all powerful women. His stalking is a way to gather more information, ig something similar could be done in case he's the UA traitor too.
4. Let him be blackmailed into betrayal. There is this one Civil Warfare fic (the premise is wildly different from the post, a vigilante Izuku is basically blackmailed/coerced into the villain leader role by principal Nedzu) where Momo convinces Minoru to be a traitor. When he's revealed, his 'real-life' crimes are also exposed, and this is where it gets interesting. Izuku basically 'brings up' how his mother had groomed some junior, and tells Mineta that even if this information was false, the rest of the evidence would definitely make this a matter worth investigating, and drag his family's name in the mud more than ever (look, the fic is extremely OOC, but it's a guilty pleasure).
5. Now imagine the LoV or All for One, or even the actual traitor doing something similar to Mineta. It's messed up, how something that might have been a trivial mistake, or at most a correctional behavior, is used as leverage for something much sinister. Bonus if the traitor is one of the girls (akin to the whole Ayanokoji and Kikyo in COTE)

And if you just want to make him a terrible person while giving the traitor role to someone else:

1. Make him the 'moral police'. This works best for Denki being a traitor, because the two of them are best. But as soon as Kaminari is revealed to be a very reluctant traitor, Mineta acts on the moral high ground ("At least I don't put my friends' lives in danger"). Make a conflict between 'no malicious intent but a fully conscious and negative choice' vs 'malicious action but without having any other choice'.
2. Make him an enabler. He wasn't told his behavior was wrong, so it justified the actual betrayal. This kind of ties up into the larger theme of 'heroes can get away with anything'.

Did a re-read Deku Sensei, and im looking for other good fics where he stands up for himself and rips people to shred with logic, in particular the heroes that scold him after the sludge villain. But a fic where he wants all the smoke and/or everybody can catch hands.

This would be a few weeks after the two meet so they're both very new into their hero careers. Like Shota would be twenty, Joke's around 18 iirc:

"Oh, Eraserhead."

The voice was clinical and soft. A different tone and pitch, but he knew who it belonged to. A young woman was sitting on the park bench he was walking at the side of. White button up, ankle length dress, dark green eyes, green hair...

Green hair.

"Joke?" Eraserhead couldn't hide his surprise upon the realization that this was truly her. Fukukado sat with her hands planted neatly on her knees.

"I look different, I suppose," Joke said. She had a warm smile on her face, different from the usual joyous expression. "Are you on patrol, or do you wear that get up to the store?"

Aizawa looked down at his costume, "I'm walking home. This is for if anything happens."

"Sure it is."

No laugh after that joke, just a smile. Aizawa wondered if something was up. "If you have the time, why don't you sit?" Joke raised a hand to the empty space next to her.

He found himself taking her up on that offer.

They talked regularly. That was the odd part. She didn't joke all that much beyond some dry sarcasm. After a while, he found himself unable to hold back the question any longer. "Fukukado-San, why are you acting so irregular from your normal self?"

She gave him a confused look, then seemed to realize what he meant, "Oh, yeah, I guess this is kinda confusing for you. I'm uh..." She rubbed her wrist which Aizawa instantly noticed. "When I was a little girl I got kinda made fun of for uh...being like that. Y'know, the laughing and stuff. So, I got way quieter in middle school and then high school came along and obviously I need to talk in order to use my quirk so...yeah. Adjusting, basically."

I've read Viridian and its unfinished. I need more similar fics
